Case 4: Sage the puppy (Part 2)
Sage finally went into surgery and we are very happy with the results. We amputated the badly fractured leg and closed all her wounds. She will now be recovering with us until she is ready to go home.

Sage came in for his 2 week post op check and I am very happy so far. ☺️

Case 4: Sage the puppy (Part 1)
Poor Sage has horrific injuries to her leg and chest. She was mauled by a bigger dog and has an open fracture. We will need to do an amputation, but we need to make sure that we have enough skin to close all her wounds. For now she is having bandage changes, anti-inflammatories and antibiotics. Spare a thought for this sweet girl and her recovery.

Case 3: Tinkels the Pyometra (Part 2)
Tinkels recovered from her operation like a superstar.
She went home the next day. 🎉

Case 3: Tinkels the Pyometra (Part 1)
Tinkles had to have emergency surgery for an infection inside her uterus. Older un-spayed girls can get this condition 2-10weeks after their season.
This is one of the reasons why sterilisation is so important!
We will check in again with Tinkels tomorrow to see how she is recovering.

Sage is recovering well from Surgery.
The next follow up visit is scheduled for 2 weeks post operation and I will continue to update you on Sage's story.
Sage has gone home.

Surgery day.
Sage was very upset about not getting breakfast, but everything went well in surgery.
The pain medication also makes Sage feel sedated which makes him look extra miserable.
