It's becoming a giving Christmas. If you are supporting other reputable rescues please do so, I'm not asking you to stop donating to them. As we wind down our rescue, Please if you can consider Unleashed Animal Rescue in Wellington Ohio. It's been quite a year for all. Rising vet costs, low donations, low adoptions. Best as we try, None of us are immune to getting over our heads as we continually stress over saying yes or no to an animal in need. Animals depend on humans.

Below is an intake picture of Harley 2 days later he was diagnosed with collapsed trachea. He woulda died without treatment. That was 2 1/2yrs ago. Since then he developed slight heart murmur, kidney cancer, pancreas trouble and occasional seizures. Monday he had a bad seizure after eating. I noticed he was having trouble eating and couldn't pick up dropped food. With all the love from us and the vet we said good byes. We are very blessed to hav him and the excellent care from Dr Meise and Dr Nicely at Douds. He was well deserving and our Sweet sweet Harley.
