This is Kuma. Her owner died and she found herself in a shelter.She is 13 years old and facing some mobility challenges. I am assisting with her rescue as she is now in a foster home. There is a chance she may remain there. I rarely ask for donations as the generosity through the years as made it easy for me to assist in my mission and provide supportive care . Beyond Kuma, I would like to be able to continue helping pets in their last hour, be it crossing Rainbow Bridge or living their last months comfortably. Phoenix received a good report today at the vet and is such a happy young man! His UTI is gone, he gained another 3 pounds in the last couple of weeks and gave me kisses ❤️❤️. Love him so much! He is so loved 💜. Thank you Karen DiTomo and Our Last Hour for helping me with his vet bill ❤️. So kind of you

Phoenix has found his forever home. You may remember this poor boy was caged with urine scald and apparently chewing on the cans of food thrown to him. I am so pleased to have helped this boy through my organization with his dental and some funds toward vet care.

Pheonix has risen from a brutal life of being locked in a cage. His skin is healing, his teeth are cleaned and he is ready to live with his new family. Per his foster, he gets along with other dogs. Please share and consider this special boy. PM Kara O'Bryan to fill out an application.

Tomorrow, this boy will be recieving his much needed dental from a life of being abused while caged. He chewed to get out and had to eat scraps thrown to him in metal cans. He was a victim of a man known to cage and abuse Chows. Luckily, he gave this boy to someone he knew and he was brought to the ACO. His urine soaked fur was shaved and a small rescue took him in but donations were down. He is aptly named Pheonix. Our Last Hour will cover his dental. Dental isn't all we do and we are here to help animals in need. Let's wish Pheonix good luck and a swift journey to his forever home.

This little 12 lb girl is living in a situation she needs to get out of, so is being surrendered. Her age is unknown, but guessed to be middle aged, not quite a senior and not quite young. Medical condition we are told is good, but needs shots which we will have done. Also probably needs to be spayed and bloodwork, etc. Need a foster asap so we can take her in. She lives with other dogs and a cat currently.

We ended last year on a happy note, helping with Pronto's vetting so he could travel to his wonderful forever home. We began this year on a sad note, helping two very senior pets whose owner was facing physical and emotional challenges , to cross safely to Rainbow Bridge. WE will continue to assist senior pets in need of either vetting or compassionate end of life services.

Her physical and emotional well being were at stake and the dogs' health were deteriorating as well. Although they lived to a ripe old age, their quality of life was clearly declining and what they needed most was a peaceful passing to the Rainbow Bridge. Our Last Hour is pleased to give this gift to Missy and Herbie.

Iggy's story does not give me the same feeling as helping Pronto to his new home. This poor girl was in need of an emergency surgery as she was in labor for 42 hours. One puppy was stuck in the birth canal along with the other deceased puppies. I prefer to assist responsible owners. I guess it doesn't cross the mind to leave a dog vulnerable even when you don't have the money to treat her. Persons donated to her hospital stay and Our Last Hour payed for her spay. I hope she will remain the happy dog she looks like as she leaves the hospital.

Pronto is home. You may remember he lost his owner to terminal illness. Our Last Hour paid for his neuter, bloodwork, and much needed dental so he could prepare for his new home. Wishing him a happy life.

Good news, Pronto will be arriving at his forever home soon. Our last hour assisted with his blood work and neuter. We would like to send him home with some supplies .
