I have always had a huge passion for pets, people and the bond between them. I started making Classy Lassie Collars because I was tired of buying expensive collars that looked great but were not durable for Ellie Mae my Great Dane. I wanted an uber stylish collar that could endure the everyday wear of going to the dog park, swimming, and hanging out at the house that Ellie Mae is accustomed to. I
like to think of Classy Lassie Collars as the perfect marriage between Comfort and Durability. I volunteer quite a bit of time and efforts into pet rescue. I donate my collars and a portion of Classy Lassie Collars proceeds to a local no-kill animal shelter that I am very active with. Classy Lassies are martingale style collars. Martingale collars are an adjustable collar that “cinches” around the dog’s neck when they pull at the leash. Martingale collars are considered humane choke collars. Classy Lassies currently come in 1” or 2” wide sizes. I’m often asked if I make small dog sizes. My answer is that if a 1” collar would not look like a neck brace on your dog, it will be a great fit. I custom make each collar so I will need your dog’s neck size when you order. I will also need to know if your dog is full grown or not, and of course which design you have picked for your pooch. Classy Lassie Collars are made with high quality cotton and hardware. I only use premium welded durable hardware and I quadruple stitch the fabric around each high stress area. The middle layer is made of webbing to reinforce the collar. The inner webbing is waterproof/ mildew proof and UV resistant. It has a 1,000lbs breaking point. This is very important for the safety of your dog. Each collar is lined with a very soft and silky poly satin. This is to ensure a comfortable collar for your pup. Most importantly, my collars are made with lots of love for dogs. These martingale collars are very humane and tested & approved by my dog Ellie Mae (and many of her Classy Lad & Lassie companions)
