From today, Herby paws will officially close. With rising costs of ingredients, Etsy prices and the postal strikes, it's just not cost effective any longer. I want to thank everyone who has ordered from me or shared my posts, especially those old dog grooming customers of mine who stuck with me throughout, it really has meant a lot. I have a limited number of doggy Christmas gifts available to collect that were an over bake from the Christmas market that I attended yesterday. Just £2.50 each per Santa paws box or mini Christmas treats bag and the paw & nose balms are now just £1. These prices are for collection from BS22 7RD. Sharing with you this post to raise awareness and we give special thanks to Julie and her family for allowing us to share their story.

Sadly their gorgeous 9 month old Jack Russell puppy Poppy, passed away very recently after eating daffodils whilst in their garden.

Poppy became unwell and was taken to a vets, who thought she’d been poisoned. The family were very worried because they had another dog and understandably were very upset with that thought too.

Trying to think what might of happened they recalled Poppy a few months ago, eating a plant whilst indoors, so they looked in the garden and noticed the daffodils were chewed. The vet then confirmed said they are highly toxic!

Sadly she had too much of the toxin in her system! The vets were unable to save her, understandably Julie and her family are heartbroken 💔

Julie asked if we would share to raise awareness and highlight this danger as daffodils are so common and a regular feature in many gardens and places where we walk our dogs.
