Non-profit dedicated to saving the lives of companion animals to decrease the euthanasia rate of high kill shelters by educating communities on spay&neuter, bringing awareness to animal cruelty, & raising money for basic medical needs We are a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of companion animals to decrease the euthanasia rate of high kill shelters by educating communities on

spay & neuter, bringing awareness to animal cruelty, & raising money for basic medical needs for the animals we help. We are not a regular adoption organization rescue, we do not take in dogs to adopt out. We are more of a half-way home rescue, and pull dogs from local kill shelters to get them vetted and ready for their next step rescue where they will find an adoptive family. At times when we can we will help out owner surrenders to keep them out of the shelters as well. In the past we partnered with a southern kill shelter in a rural county area, but due to staff changes we are no longer able to help there. Some dogs would come in way more sick/injured then we could help, or they had some very serious behavior issues that couldn't be modified (or there’s no partner rescues who would be willing to step up to help). We would never take a chance with anyone’s safety (human or animal) and lie to get the dog out either, so we couldn't save everyone but we tried. We raised/collected pledges for partner rescues who pulled dogs through us, and donated the funds to the rescues once the dog leaves the shelter subtracting any fees we incurred. At times when we had a foster to take in a dog until a rescue was found we were happy since we could make more room at the shelter, since the shelter didn’t have an actual foster program. Sadly now that shelter's euthanasia rate will get higher since we are no longer able to help. Most of our partners wanted proper behavior assessments, which none of the staff at the shelter have the director of this organization's skill set or background in dog training. We were able to get out dogs that were seen by shelter staff to be aggressive or feral, since we knew what the actions truly that the dogs were showing usually due to fear. We are very honest, and transparent in everything we do. If you have any questions about ANYTHING please send us a message. 🚨Final plea for darling Ryan, sweet as can be siblings Lucky and Love, and handsome hound Trevor before they are euthanized MONDAY 😭. Please HELP! Call NOW and leave a detailed message if can adopt. If you can FOSTER , please reach out to rescues in your area or dm us in case we can suggest a rescue 🚨

💜 Ryan : This sweet guy is Approximately 3yr old, APBT mix, male, around 40lbs. Poor thing came in very skinny (emaciated). Did ok with other dogs ✅🐶although understandably wasn’t a fan of being jumped on but he did give a kiss to a calmer dog pal (see video). Can you help him 🥺? This sweet little guy doesn’t deserve to die .

💙Lucky and 🩷Love (can be adopted separately or together): two beautiful and super sweet Shepard mixes love the volunteers they’ve met and are melting the hearts of everyone with their sweet and eager to please personalities. 💙Lucky is approx 2yr old, male, shepherd/bulldog mix, around 65lbs. Very sweet guy, just eager to have some attention. 🩷Love is ~ 2yr old, female, shepherd/bulldog mix, around 60lbs. She is very sweet, does not understand being on a leash yet but is a smart girlie who will learn things quickly. Was scared of other dogs at shelter right now.

💜Trevor : this very handsome hound pup is ~ 10m old, Bluetick hound mix, male, around 40lbs. Did well on dog test at shelter ✅🐶. Poor sweet fella has his tail cut off, we are guessing so they could tell the difference between him and other dogs 😞. He deserves so much better

Please read Ryan’s final plea 😞💔. LAST CHANCE TO BE ALIVE 😭

It’s now or never to save Ryan’s life 😭. “I thought someone would save me. But no one came 😞. I was starved. Neglected. And then dumped to die. When I thought I lost all hope, a volunteer told me I was a good boy. I give kisses to the volunteers and some of my calmer doggie friends. I’m sweet. I like hoomans that I meet and I want to be their friend. The shelter gave me extra time for being a good boy but they said they can’t keep me any longer 😞. I’m so sad. All I wanted was s a second chance. I just wanted someone to show me kindness but it looks like I’ll never experience that 💔. I don’t want to die 😭. Is this the end? I’m almost out of time 😞.” - Ryan

But as he’s been here over a month, we can tell he is starting to lose hope 😔. The happy joy and exuberance he had for life is now fading and he is becoming depressed. Unless he gets out now, they will euthanize him tomorrow 😔💔. Can you help this sweet boy find his way again ? ‼️HELP ‼️TWO 30/35lb HAPPY AND SWEET LOVING BROTHERS ON EUTHANASIA LIST 😭‼️‼️Petite 1 yo brothers Sherman and Sean are only 1yr+ old, mixed breed, around 30lbs and 35lbs (smaller boys, full grown). Came in several months back with several other starved, “puppies” whose growth was stunted due to malnourishment. They all looked so young, but were in fact at least 8ms old. They were part of the first group (3 different groups came in since there were over 20 pups from 3 diff moms). Both brothers did well on dog tests and are very cute little boys who just want a loving home ✅🐶🩷. They are SWEET as can be and just two happy little boys who want to find their hoomans so badly. *update adopted at shelter* Sweetheart little Jerry needs your help! This little boy is ~ 1.5yr old, GSD mix, male, around 35lbs and came in scared with his two brothers. His two brothers have been rescued, but Jerry still needs out! Jerry is a VERY sweet little guy who warms up quickly and loves treats, affection, and toys. Sweet little Jerry even gives kisses (and tail wags)to the volunteers. This silly little guy also likes playing with toys, although we think he is still learning what toys are, and he tends to like to give his humans attention more if given the choice between human or toy (darling little fella just wants some love and affection). We think Jerry would love some plushies of his own to learn how to play in his forever family. Jerry did great on his dog tests too. He seems to really like other dogs. He was very tolerant of his new friend jumping on him too. Overall Jerry is just a very good boy who's never been shown a good life. Can you help this boy before it’s too late ? Little about what our purpose is...

We are NOT the shelter. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of companion animals to decrease the euthanasia rate of high kill shelters by educating communities on spay & neuter, bringing awareness to animal cruelty, & raising money for basic medical needs for the animals at the shelter. The shelter is not connected to our organization, nor do they profit off of our organization. They have no say in how this organization is run, nor authority over the people that run it. We currently are only able to help Columbus County NC animal shelter since we are just starting, but we hope to grow in the future. We raise funds in order for the dogs to get spayed/neutered so they don’t go home and accidentally get pregnant, and the vaccines (except rabies) that are used at the shelter, among other things for the dogs. We are not a rescue, and we do not take in dogs to adopt out.

The shelter we help is a rural southern county kill shelter, and while we do our very best to help every dog who comes through the door, it’s still not a guarantee they will be saved. Some dogs come in way more sick/injured then we can help, or they have some very serious behavior issues that can’t be modified (or there’s no rescues who would be willing to step up to help). We will never take a chance with anyone’s safety (human or animal). We raise/collect pledges for rescues who pull dogs, and donate the funds to the rescues once the dog leaves the shelter. At times when we have a foster to take in a dog until a rescue is found we are happy to be able to make more room at the shelter, since the shelter doesn’t have an actual foster program.

We never know how many dogs will come in day-to-day. We want these dogs to go to new homes/rescues that are better than where they came from so they can be loved as part of a family the rest of their lives, that is our daily goal. We are very honest, and transparent in everything we do. If you have any questions about ANYTHING please send us a message. We are always happy to answer, just give us time since we aren’t always available. We are all volunteers and do not get paid for anything we do for these dogs. Please don’t assume you know what we do, or get mad that we can’t help you because we are set-up to just help the dogs who are at the shelter.

We are very happy to have such a great relationship with the new shelter Director, and we foresee nothing but good things for the future of these dogs at the shelter. We are so lucky to have the volunteers who help on this page & with the organization, and all the rescues who help save these wonderful dogs. We are also thrilled to have so many followers who help us to help all these souls remain Unforgotten by sharing, tagging, pledging. Only good things to come!
