THREE DAY OLD DONKEY!
I named him donkey because of his stripe. He’s always happy and smiling.
He is transitioning (balls have been banded 🙈)
I chose to do this because of our bond. We are such good mates and given he’s of a bloodline we’re not breeding with anymore. There was no need for him to turn into a stinky buck.
So in a few weeks the shriveled sultana sacks that were formally his balls, will drop off and most probably be discovered by one of the chihuahuas and end up on the lounge room floor.
But, this means Donkey won’t be overcome by testosterone and feel the need to p*e on his face to attract a mate.. Instead. He will have me to be besties with and live his days out as a living lawnmower and protect me from the rooster when collecting eggs ☺️
