What are you trying to achieve in life? Personally I try to reach a balance between the things that I like and the things I love! I like my job and I love hiking. Also I love teaching, guiding, coaching and showing up for my veterinary peers.
So... don't be grumpy like my patient today and reach out. Maybe we can have a chat and see if there could be a better balance in your life.

In a veterinary setting I often found myself alongside a colleague who was difficult to work with. The situations were dealt with in various different ways, sometimes with me leaving the workplace due to lack of proper decision making and managerial structure.

Having battled some personal and professional challenges, I have embarked on a journey of self fulfillment and better balance in all areas of my life.
We as veterinary professionals are struggling and I had to learn "to cope" on my own. If I had a choice or the availability, I would choose to receive coaching and mentorship.
Now this is possible through on-line platforms and the wider reach of social media.
