This aquarium is coming along nicely!
1200 litres, running 2 Nero 5 wave makers, Blaze lighting, Clarisea sk-5000 fleese roller, Great White GW-12 protein skimmer, Pacific Sun media reactor, Great White DC return pump, reef Factory KH Keeper Plus, Reef Factory water changing dosing unit and a Auto Aqua Smart Azov on the reef pure RODI unit.

Tank On Tip!
Do you need to a larger dose of some KH into your tank?
Most of the time we need to dose over a long period
To prevent a spike.
Use a disposable cup and put a pin hole in the bottom so the dissolved KH will slowly drip in over a few hours.
You can use this for fresh water or marine 😉

Is your aquarium ClariSea Clean?
Fleese rollers have been on the market for a short while in terms of retail. When they first came out, I was sceptical thinking it seemed like a gimmick type item.
Then they started becoming more popular, and after I started getting requests to make new sumps for Red Sea tanks so the filter rollers would fit, I started taking an interest.
Comments like “Best purchase I’ve made” and “couldn’t be without it!” Made me take more and more notice.
Today, a lot of Tank On Cleaning customers run filter rollers from ClariSea, Red Sea ReefMat and the little known budget Bubble Magus roller, I can quite confidently say, they make a huge difference!!
While filter socks and “wool” are great classic particulate filtration methods, the filter rolls are so easy to change, cost efficient long term and don’t make a mess when you change them.
So many times I have got a hand full of bristle worm bristles, oh no no, not with these!
I can honestly say, they do make a massive difference!

We first started working on this tank a few years ago, riddled with Black Beard Algae, Cyanobacteria and general misery, there was a fair bit going on.
Fortunately, it was fixed and starting to thrive prior to the unfortunate issues we have all experienced throughout the last few years.
I was glad when I was able to come back to this great little Juwel, it was still thriving after the filtration alterations and water conditioning changes we made.
For Freshwater aquariums, we proudly use Biotope water conditioners, and I am so happy we do, as we feel this great little tank has gone from strength to strength from these awesome Aussie made products!

Sadly, I needed to re home this magnificent Sarcophyton Toadstool soft coral as it was out growing the tank and, as you can see was touching the glass.
This coral was put in to this Red Sea Re**er 375 a number of years ago when it was a little bigger than the size of a 50 cent piece!
Fully spread, the top cap of this lovely coral is almost 60cm in diameter 😱😱
