I got to spend time with some of my favorite cats this week and now Keiko is here for the weekend!

It's been so nice having the opportunity to get to know your pets more due to petsitting them multiple times. Each time they are more and more settled when I'm around and I get to see more of there fun personalities!

There is always a moment that things just fall into place for me and the pets that I care for. I take every job so seriously and want to do the very best I can to meet everyone's expectations. And of course it can't happen immediately. It's the nature of the job, and the nature of nature haha! It comes with consistency, trust, flexibility, and patience.

And then there is a point it clicks.

I love that moment because it means the pets I serve are in a groove with me and are happy, relaxed and settled.

There is an ease. And it stays. It's the best!

I appreciate all of your support. For the new people on this page, I am a clinical social worker by day and pet sitter by night!

I do both because I enjoy both!

(And also can we please pay social workers more so they don't need 3 jobs).

Fun facts about me:

I currently have 4 pet fish and 1 snail.
I have a LOT of plants.
I love petsitting and dogs are my favorite but I have some really amazing cat clients who I adore!
I miss my rescue dogs everyday, especially Juanito.
I use the funds to offset my bills and rent and IVF loans.
I also am a huge advocate for economic justice and reparations campaigns.

There are pros and cons to petsitting.

I love getting to know your pets and caring for them. And I also really miss them when my services are no longer needed.

The last two gems I petsat were trained to high five for treats! How amazing is that- this gal LOVES a good high five. 🐈‍⬛️🐈😻

This is why I love repeat customers. It's good for the pets for sure, but it also warms my heart, because believe it or not, I care deeply for the pets I spend time with!

Each pet has their own unique qualities which is so fun for this social worker who mainly works with humans but also loves animals.

I appreciate you all for following this page and trusting me with your pets. And thanks for bringing me back to serve you and your pets, time and time again- it is the BEST and why I do this work 💜
