August 1st made Lychees 4th bun-anniversary with me! Lol i was trying to go through the thousands of pictures I had, still didn't finish ๐ I'm so happy I was able to adopt Lychee from my cousin who saved him from some kids that found him running around loose. They had actually dropped him! Poor baby ๐ฅบ
Lychee is my 3rd bun that was exclusively my son and who was able to free roam in my rooms. We had two buns before that my sister and I shared as young ones. It's amazing how unique each of their personalities are!
Lychee is my most well behaved, barely chewing on my things (he chews on what he knows for sure is his ๐). He is so sweet, always trying to groom my hand. He wakes me up in the morning if Im taking too long to get up by bouncing across me. He is also very neat for the most part and doesn't fling hay as much as my other two.
He's a perfect bun model, and super smart. Even if he's sleeping he's on duty and will get up to jump on a pad to model it (of course it means treats ๐). He responds to the title bunspector.
He's also super loyal. If he's sleeping and I change rooms, he's following me and will sleep on the floor next to me if I'm taking a nap.
I love my little son and hope we get to spend alot more time together ๐ฅฐ

Aloha Everybun! We hope you're enjoying your weekend! Lychee is enjoying juicing some organic cherries we got from the store last week ๐คฃ
He also got another bunny bed from our prime day purchases. Another bun mom mentioned that IKEA isn't selling their bunny (doll) beds anymore ๐คฏ Anyhow we wanted to see if our bedding fits the other brands on there. It does fit one of them (they have several companies with different names but the same upright ear bun) except after you wash the mattress, it will shrink so the pad will be a little smaller than their mattress area (though it's still bigger than the polyester fleece pad it comes with). I ordered the lop ear bun one but it's taking awhile to come and that seems smaller. Anyhow, if you're ordering for the upright bun bed please put it in the notes, i will try and see if i can adjust the pad so it'll be a little bit bigger. Still trying to decide if to remove a layer of batting as the current set is at the extreme limit for the lower shipping price. Lol why did you have to complicate things ikea???
Hoppy weekend! Somebunny finally ordered our bright bunnies, birds and butterflies print! They did so in our new Xlarge size (22"). We were so happy because this print is ultra soft with some rayon added to the cotton and the bright colors ๐
Lychee got a mom made treat, she made it in our air fryer! We put ground oats, organic spring mix, blueberries, echinacea, turmeric and banana. Then air fried on the lowest setting for two hours. Super krispy!
Mommy lisa also delved into butterfly mommyhood after adopting a couple crown flower plants from a friend. Have you ever seen a monarch butterfly come out of their crystalis?? We had him as a caterpillar about a week, he went from tiny to huge, then went into the crystalis and came out as a butterfly in 8 days! We got there right in time to see the catepillar we named Heimlech emerge. Too bad he found his way out of the mesh we had covering the plant while we were out though. But we have 3 catepillars/crystalis in a mesh cage inside so hopefully we get to see/carry them next week!
So we loved the material with the bunny and bird alot before and now even more so with the butterflies!
Lol he went from sleeping like a little prince to flop and rolling ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ he's moving pads cause it's so warm outside... Going from one spot to another. The regular cotton stays a little cooler.. Like flipping your pillow over ๐

I didn't realize I ran out - then had a little bigger order to pack ๐. But they were super quick getting it to us, between ordering and receiving it, it was only 5 days! All the way to the middle of the pacific ๐
@all.the.lops has been a wonderful customer and she picks the cutest brightest colors for her bunnies. This was her order for her new bun Beethoven.๐
Again we wanted to say how much we love these impack mailers... Super durable and they are biodegradable on top of that! If you need any packaging, we've been using them for years and love them.
Aloha everybun! We just wanted to say hi and happy new week! Lychee went on a 40 minute drive to the windward side of the island to check to see if his teeth were still ok after we had it shaved down a couple months ago, and to check on his leaky eye he had a few weeks ago. He got a clean bill of health and I met the awesome bunny vet who had done the surgery. On the way home we stopped by a lookout point so thought we would give lychee a nature break ๐ lol he still likes the house more. His flop pad kept his feet nice and clean. I got a nice picture from a customer who visited from Canada and came by to pick up. Her bun looks just like a bun in our new watercolor bun and leaves pattern ๐
Hoppy new week everybun! I got a special delivery from @pawkreations this weekend! Paw kookies and their new hay based fun bag with carrot tops and kookie dust in it to encourage me to eat more hay. It worked, I've been working on that bad for a couple days now ๐
Hoppy Sunday! I had relatives visiting this week stu got to take a much needed break touring our island of Oahu. Aloha everybunny! Happy spring prints time! Hope you have all been well and hope it's warming up a little for our mainland buns! We are in gardening mode, busy trying to figure out how and what to plant. We started during the summer and that was a bad idea ๐ so now we are redeeming ourselves starting when everybun else is starting to grow. So mommy has been saving my poopy bedding for two weeks so she can put it on the bottom of our new garden bed.
Anyhow aside from that we also brought in a bunch of new super cutie prints that we have you'll enjoy.

We haven't been on awhile! My Lychee had what I thought was another few bouts of gi stasis, then found out he actually had a pokey tooth! So he had to go under anaesthesia to get it shaved.
It was so hard for the vets who had seen him before to see he had a elongated right tooth and a point on the left back molar.
I was thinking what a bad bunny mom I was having him deal with stasis every month. I shouldve caught on because he would stop eating all of a sudden then after getting some pain meds he would be fine and eating and pooping like normal ๐ So add another bunny health experience to my pocket. I'm just glad the last vet caught it. We will check again in a few months to make sure he's ok.
Meanwhile to make myself feel better I ordered a bunch of new spring prints! Excited for these! I have just a couple more coming but they may take apple. The new ones are all up on my website (not the etsy store yet as that's alot more work to update).

The new sunflower print looks pretty realistic and mommy thought it looked good with a bunny print that we have. All the new fabric except the sun and rainbow that we restocked are regular quilting cotton like your sheet fabric so it will be cooler in the summer. But will require some ironing if you want it to look perfect perfect ๐
