Newborn at home so the dog has to go .
For those who give up their dogs when they have a baby, I'm posting this photo of a family whose 15-year-old Jack Russel Terrier is treated as one of the children (because he was their first child) and who is the protector of his two human brothers and sisters.
Never use the excuse that you had to let your dog go because you have a baby in the family and the doctor advised you blah blah blah and other lame excuses.
Never abandon your pets. They are family 😍

Lola is the sweetest most lovable little girl you will ever meet. Lola loves everyone and gets along with other dogs. Lola unfortunately was left behind in her house when her family moved out. We don't understand how anyone could do that to this sweet girl. But that hasn't stopped Lola from trusting humans. Now Lola deserves a family that will take care of her and love her and make her a part of their family and let her know she will never be left behind again. Lola is a 5-6 yr old Female Chiweenie! “She would have been 7 years old on Feb 27. I rescued her when she was 2 days old. She had been released several times and always stayed close to home. she came back to give birth to her babies. Watching her delivery and raising her kits was the most amazing experience I have ever had being a rehabber. She was a fighter, she survived distemper, she was poisoned, several different attacks in the wild. The distemper left her with neurological issues, that point she was deemed non-releasable. She has been indoors with me for almost 5 years now. Her and I have been so much together. We both dependent on each other she could make it without me and I couldn't make it without her. The bond that her and I developed with each other was like no other that I've ever experienced. NAWTY fell asleep on my chest her last night and when I woke up she was still laying on my chest she looked up at me and licked my chin once then took a few deep breaths and she was gone. My heart is hurting so bad. I am totally lost without her. She was my soulmate there's no words that can describe how much I loved her. Thank you for accepting me into this group. And I'm sending my heartfelt condolences to all that have lost their love. Many blessings to you all.

A poor momma opossum was hit by a car this morning and killed. Fortunately, Yevgeniy stopped to check her pouch and saw babies moving inside. He brought momma to us so that we could remove the babies and raise them. There were only two survivors but two very important lives saved thanks to Yevgeniy.
