Why do I have a cage requirement on my pet rat contract… because Petco has so many horrible tank toppers for sale. This was from another rat page. Some no cages I agree with others I understand why not, made from wood if a bad idea with rats. While a few I think would be okay.

Born early yesterday morning 3/12/24! 1st glimpse of our 2024 rat babies!🎉 Looks like 10 pups from our Variegated Fawn Dumbo, Ivy! She’s doing a wonderful job so far as a first time mom🥰!

That is the size of the microchip we put in all our babies. This way people know what lines these are coming from even if they transfer owners. It also helps to prevent abandonment like the 8 males Haley and the rat community saved last year. I’m a huge believer that if you breed them you are responsible for them their whole life.
