We are a small 501(c)3 rescue dedicated to bringing homeless dogs from NM and TX to homes in the Pacific Northwest.
Maggie was spayed today with our program located in Dalhart TX for owned dogs. We are so happy to save lives this way. Pet over population is no joke and the 💔 with so many dogs and so few homes is a viscous cycle we are working to break. SpayNeuter is the best option for solving this problem. Thank you as always to those who have not left us and still keep donating despite our adoption programs’ temporary closure. ♥️🐾

PUPDATE! We heard from one of our lovely double dipper families recently. If you remember our boy Buck who had his leg amputated after likely hobbling in pain for quite some time; you’ll be happy to know he is well and handsome as ever with that winning personality shining through. His RDR bro Hank is not so sure about modeling a warm sweater during summer heat but he is still one handsome boy! Pupdates make our hearts sing! ♥️🐾♥️🐾

More SN for owned dogs! We are getting it done bit by bit and every bit means MANY lives saved—just check out the third photo. Even though spay neuter is not nearly as glamorous or applause worthy as adoptions, it truly saves more lives and alleviates the suffering of dogs who may end up homeless and in shelters or stray. We love being a part of the small town programs and helping as we can. And all of your donations go to these programs and help us save them. With our sweet pup is out there in the rain we’re really needing extra help getting signage out. Yes, is hard to be out in the rain hanging up signs. But he is out there in the rain too and one of the best ways to get him home is to get it known in the general public that he’s out there along with the number to report to when he is seen. Because of this, we could use several volunteers willing to cover different parts of what is currently the river Road area to the south, and, spreading to the north as sightings occur. Please please consider stepping up, going with a friend and heading out for an hour or so of hanging signs, on a couple of streets we have all the supplies for you. We just need your legs and time to help bring him back home. Message us to get your street assignment! It would mean the world to all of us to have your help to bring him home! ♥️🐾
UPDATE We are still searching. There have been very few sightings. A little less than 24 hours ago was the most recent one, he was last seen still in the same area Chambers/RiverRd/NW Expressway in Eugene. We are hoping to increase our signage to create awareness with the public to watch for him and contact the number posted when he is seen. If you can help put up signs or tape signs (the signs need to be taped on both sides to protect them from the rain ), we could really use it. It’s a time-consuming process. Thank you to all the volunteers who have put in time so far!

FOSTER NEEDED ASAP!
Two-year-old Huckleberry is currently at the city impound, at the end of his holding period, and there are no foster homes available. He’s a friendly boy who loves kids and hates balloons. He loves camping and fishing. Also loves to snuggle up in your blankets and sleep on a bed. He needs a securely fenced yard and plenty of physical activity. He will be vaccinated and neutered before placement in foster care.
We strongly suspect it was a stress response to being one of three intact male dogs living in a small space, but we need to disclose that Huckleberry was involved in some dog-on-dog aggression and once fatally toward a kitten. No aggression has been observed since being removed from that environment, and his impending neuter should help even more. Still, he shouldn’t foster with any dogs known to be high-string “alpha,” and should be closely supervised around small animals after a proper introduction. Zero history of aggression toward humans.

Aaaaannndddd the winner is! Which sister do you think has the the most expressive ears? These girls can tell stories with them! Tasha, left, and Tawny, right, are adorable and are both winners in our eyes. They are possible Corgi mixes, are 9 months old and will be posted as available in just a few days. They are both around 22-25#. Housebroken and learning about cats, crates, cars and leashes. Dog friendly. Spayed and UTD on vaccines, heartworm negative too!

AVAILABLE! We don’t quite get why a dog as amazing as Collie is has not been adopted! Just look at him—he can go to a dog park and get along with all the dogs and people, he can go to a school and get along with all the children in costumes nonetheless! He can live in a home with two other dogs, and have great manners, and be a wonderful visitor! But the point of all this is he is not supposed to be a visitor.
