Jonathan Dickinson State Park was the last park Gus was able to enjoy before crossing the rainbow bridge from T-cell lymphoma.

His paw print can be seen in Advanced Animal Transport's logo and is one of the reasons why this company was started.

The tower from which this video was captured, will be torn down with the proposed golf course changes.

Advanced Animal Transport does not agree with these changes and will continue to be an advocate for the animals and plants that reside in this park.

2:49 shows the Threatened Scrub Jay burying acorns in the sand as food storage.

1000 acres at Jonathan Dickinson State Park is proposed to be turned into golf courses. This is not the only park affected. Many in Florida will also be affected as well.

⭕ Drinks/cooler for the staff working in hot conditions - they absolutely need a little assistance

3:47pm update: 15.1 foot waves
100mph seen on Ventusky Models

West Coast

Pressure dropped from 1001 to 992mb
Wind speeds will be faster than 65mph! The newest report has not reflected change in windspeeds. Expect them to be higher.

Please watch this storm closely as the water temperatures are in the 90s within the bend.

Buoys closest to the storm are currently seeing 15.1 foot waves. Buoy photo and link in comments.

Some models are seeing 100mph sustained winds which would place this storm as a Category 2.

For those with shelters that flood easily, please reach out to your city about accommodations for relocating dogs/cats into gymnasiums or other public buildings.

Also attached in these photos, is an example of a temporary housing situation for animals that need to be evacuated. Tarp is layed down to protect the floor from scratches.

I recently wrote an article for NAPPS National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. I never submitted a photo because it was hard enough writing it while thinking about the loss of my own two furbabies, and made me cry too much (they are the reason why I started Advanced Animal Transport). I thought I would just let the marketing committee choose a photo for this one.

I was expecting A.I. to choose maybe a kid or human with a pet, many pets, maybe vet clinic or even a cemetery. Nope.

I'm going to take this as a sign that Fluffy and Gus are having the time of their life. Fluffy was a calico tabby. I'll be adding their photo below in the comments. Their paw prints are actually in the logo.

July 18th, thanks to Breahna Stirling and Passion 4 Pits Rescue, I had the wonderful opportunity to transport Loki and Gracie from St. Pete to Oveido, FL for a spay and neuter. This trip was over 122 miles with their stops included (439 miles in total). This photo was taken right in front of the veterinarian office beforehand.

📍Unfortunately Loki, the smaller black dog went into shock shortly after his neuter and had to have emergency exploratory surgery. This and the hospital stays for recovery were extremely expensive. His bill totaled more than $4,000.

Discounted Transport Rates 🔴

$60 Flat Rate Roundtrip to Veterinarian and back home for renewing shots (rabies, distemper, heartworm, etc) and microchips only.

More involved appointments will stay at $70/hour. Advanced Animal Transport will be with your pet from start to finish. Please contact your vet for payment for their services prior to booking transport with us separately.

Prescription foods - these foods can also be picked up when bringing your pets in at no extra transport cost. Pick up only of supplies without vet appointments can be arranged for $25. Again, contact your veterinarian prior to arranging supply pickup.

Advanced Animal Transport has availability this week to help make sure your pets have the correct up to date shots and microchips. Boarding facilities will not accept your pets if these are not up to date.

We're just THREE days away from Florida's BIGGEST lifesaving weekend! Through the generosity of Petco Love and BOBS from SKECHERS, we're participating in Petco Love's SECOND MEGA Adoption Event. We'll have cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes eagerly awaiting their second chance 🐾

All pets available for adoption will be fixed (spayed or neutered), up to date on all of their vaccinations, microchippped, and their adoption fees are COMPLETELY FREE. That means you can take home your next best friend for $0.

Additionally, the Humane Society of St. Lucie County shelter on Glades Cut Off Road will remain OPEN June 28 - June 29. And all pets at the shelter will ALSO have their adoption fees reduced to $0.

Thank you Natasha for getting shirts made for all of us. Thank you so much Ocean Republic Brewing for hosting us for Yappy Hour. We had the chance to meet Camp Bow Wow Stuart and check out special treats for dogs with allergies made by (Instagram).

Found a kitten a couple days ago on PSL Blvd.

Brought to Prima Vista Animal Hospital to be looked over, started on dewormers, and removed 40+ fleas with a flea bath.

Please spread the word so we can reunite this found cat with its family! FOUND on June 20, 2024 in Port St. Lucie, FL 34984 near Port Saint Lucie BLVD

Description: Found kitten at 0100 in the morning on PSL BLVD jumping into the bushes in the median before the bridge. No mother or other kittens were found in the location. Kitten was brought to Prima Vista Animal hosp to start dewormers, received a flea bath which removed 40+ fleas, and started on kitten formula and transition food. Kitten is safe with toys, pets, and a comfy space.

Mable's Mission Bake Sale at Ocean Republic Brewing for Medical Funding

Advanced Animal Transport had the opportunity to meet community members of the pet industry including Owner of Mable's Mission, Briana, and Karen from Mermaid & Bear Pet Concierge whom also formerly worked with Wagnolias. A big Thank You to Ocean Republic Brewing for hosting as well!

The bake sale proceeds are designed to help cover expenses for senior dogs that are on the euthanasia list and saving them through foster-based rescue. Unfortunately, senior care is not cheap and neither are the illnesses associated with aging, including cancer.

Ziggy, one of the fosters, is only 3 years old and is undergoing chemo treatments for B-Cell Lymphoma. Prognosis is better than T-Cell, what Advanced Animal Transport's golden retriever, Gus fell victim to, but it is still equally expensive with weeks worth of treatments. To pay for these treatments and to cover the other medical costs of fosters in care, this bake sale was created to help reduce those expenses.

Even though the sale has ended, here are some ways you can still support Mable's Mission.
