It's cold here so I'm enjoying snuggles on the couch with my brothers Norman the Cat and Wilson the Stafford! 🐯🐻🐮🥰 How is the weather where you are?

Saxon's handler here! Sorry I dont post as often but we have been so busy! I am so amazed to report that somehow Saxon will be turning 13 on Sunday!! 😱 I can't believe he's already 13 and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a Friday the 13th Birthday Party for him today after work! Saxon got a pumpkin, banana, apple sauce cake with a pumpkin yogurt frosting and his name piped on with peanut butter and not nearly enough red food coloring to make it look red 😂 He didn't care how it looked tho! He and Wilson wolfed down their slices so fast I couldn't even get pictures of them eating them (I included the one pic where you can see some cake fragments in their bowls) 😂 So I think the cake was a success! Even Norman the Cat approved of the frosting! They all just keep looking at me expecting more cake, so that will be my life for the rest of tonight 😅 Happiest of Birthdays, Saxon, and thank you for the years of friendship and service! 🥰🎂🎊

This is amazing news! I grew up in Miami and years ago I went to the polling place with a sign and information when there was a vote to overturn the ban. It didn't pass at that time, but I am happy to hear that this new State law will make County bans a thing of the past! - Saxon's handler

Saxon had his annual eye exam through the ACVO National Service Animal Eye Exam Event today at Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care!! Thank you so much to the staff for always making Saxon feel welcome and happy, he loves everyone there and always leaves with a wagging tail! Saxon's eyes are looking good! They take longer to dilate than when he was younger, but it doesn't seem to be effecting his vision, he also has a couple of small cataracts that haven't grown in the last 3 years. The stye on his eye lid that he's had for about 4 or 5 years has started to grow and get inflamed at times, so they did give us a cream to help him with that this year. I am thankful to have something to put on it now to hopefully help offer him some relief. Though it honestly seems to bother me more than him! Saxon will he 13 in October and is still a happy, healthy, energetic, and friendly guy! I'm so thankful to have him in my life and to have this program which helps me give him the best care possible! Thank you to the ACVO and to the staff at Portland Veterinary Specialists!
