Sharing adoptable Tansy again! Tansy is such a friendly and affectionate girl! Typically, she is the first to greet you when you walk into the room, and she'll never miss the opportunity to sit your lap if you give her the chance! This sweet girl is 5 years old and has been at the shelter for over 2 years! We can't believe she hasn't found her forever home yet! She is more than ready to find a family she can give all of her love to! Tansy's adoption fee has been sponsored by Animal Wellness Center of Pontiac!

Cedar and Elm are the most curious and cuddly kittens we've ever met! These 2 boys are the last of their litter of 9 searching for their forever homes! We'd love to help them find a loving family just like their siblings! They are 4 months old and can be adopted together or separate!

ARCHIE! 🐾 This sweet boy came to LCHS from animal control with his best friend Edith! Edith has recently found a forever home, leaving Archie quite lonely. Archie is estimated to be around 3 years old! If you can't tell by the video, he is a bit of a goofy looking boy with his short legs and long body! He loves everyone he meets and enjoys getting as much attention as possible! He also enjoys going for long walks, and yes his little legs can keep up with that! All and all, Archie is a very good boy that is searching for his forever home! Stop by LCHS to meet him!

Do you think of Caramel when envisioning your favorite sweet treat? Like the candy, our Caramel is a very sweet, in-your-pocket girl! While she may be nervous initially, open your heart and spend some time to get to know her! You'll see that she is about as sweet as Caramel comes!

This sweet girl is Linny! Please take the time to read her story and help us find her the forever home she deserves! Linny is currently our longest term resident here at LCHS. She came in at just a few months old with her mom and 2 brothers. She is soon going to be celebrating her third birthday. Linny is FIV+ and she is the only FIV+ cat we have at LCHS. Recently, her best friend, Turtle, was adopted, leaving her all alone. As you can tell by the video, she is quite lonely. Linny was in a foster home for a bit of time with dogs and other cats, but it has become apparent that her favorite company is that of a human friend! She is a playful and affectionate girl! Linny would love nothing more than to snuggle up on your lap after some playtime! Being FIV+ might be a little off putting at first, but don't let that deter you from coming in to meet our amazing Linny! Please do your research on FIV! Because Linny is harder for us to adopt our being FIV+, she does not have an adoption fee! We just want her to finally have a loving family!

Say hello to Milkyway! And yes, she is just as sweet as the candy bar! Milkyway is a Husky/American Eskimo mix, roughly weighing 25 pounds! She also just recently celebrated her first birthday! She is a spunky and playful girl who can't wait to find her forever family!

We have a very special boy we would like you to meet! This is Enzo, a 2 year old sweetheart who is looking for a special family! Enzo got brought to LCHS when he was only 3 weeks old. He was then bottle fed by a foster family up until now. As he continued to grow up from that tiny 3 week old kitten, it was apparent Enzo was going to be a very special kitty. Enzo has zero control in his front leg and not the greatest control in his back legs. This makes it harder for him to get around, but it surely doesn’t stop him from trying! We think that this is neurological, and he was born to be this way. If you think you would be the puurfect match for this handsome boy, he would love to meet you!

Happy #FIVFriday from Turtle and Linny! We currently have 2 FIV+ cats avaible for adoption at our facility that can't wait to find their forever homes! These amazing cats do not have an adoption fee and they'd love for you to come visit them! FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) means that these cats just have a slightly depressed immune system. Cats that test positive for FIV can still live long lives! FIV is not easily transmitted, so they can go to a home with other cats!

We celebrated Duggy's first birthday today! He got to spend the day with his friends, he got a delicious treat and of course, recieved some presents! Thank you to Lizzy and Tanner for providing treats and toys for all of the pups and making Duggy's first birthday the best it could be here at the shelter!

Just a little reminder that we have 19 kittens that are currently searching for their forever homes! Our kitten adoption fees are $100 for 1 or $150 for 2! Most things come better in a pair! 😉 Our adoption fees include: • Spay/Neuter when they are old enough for the procedure • Rabies & Feline Distemper vaccines • Microchip • All of our kittens are also kept on monthly flea prevention and have had appropriate dewormers • All kitten also go home with an adopter bag full of goodies
