While I'm loving this summer heat, so e dogs struggle with it.
Some tips for keeping them cool:
- Dip several bandanas in water and keep them in the freezer, through the day swap then around so they always have a cool one.
- make sure to groom as much as possible to keep undercoat build up
- if your dog loves being outside, make a shady spot appealing with a nice place to lay down
- freeze some brother cubes, blue berries or watermelon bowls for a cold snack
- if they have a long or lick mat, put your favorite mixture on/in it and freeze I. It will take your pup longer to work through and cool him off in the process
