I have decided to retire some older red boys that I have here. They range between one to six years of age. Serious inquiries only as older dachshunds take much more care, training, resocialization and boundary setting than a new pups takes. They are not already house trained just because they are older dogs. Dachshunds need to be retrained in new environments as if they were brand new pups learning to potty train. Also older boys that have been exposed to females in season and breeding situation will have a tendency to want to mark even after they have been neutered. Serious inquiries only. Admindac’s Upon A Midnight Clear MSP(call name Extra) the black and tan Piebald bitch owned and shown by Serena Ireland, just took winners bitch, BOS and best puppy in breed at the Regional Dachshund specialty in Portage La Prairie MB. It was all live streamed and I am over the moon to see her earn her first major points at her first weekend out! Congratulations to Serena and thank you to Breeder Judge Mark McMillan. Picture to come! So I guess it’s fitting to say I am “Extra” excited!

Sunday July first at the Canadian National Dachshund Specialty in Manitoba, Ch Admindac Just Putting It Out There ML, aka Ranger, took Best Opposite S*x in the miniature longhaired Dachshunds. I am so proud of Shauna and Ranger and all they have accomplished!

As a breeder selecting for conformation that is better than the parents bred from, it often means letting the pups grow out almost to full maturity in order to make the final selection of what to hold onto for future breeding. These boys are available to forever homes on neuter contracts as long as the new potential owners pass the screening and half of what is normally asked for puppy cost. My friend and breeder colleague in Newfoundland has a litter of purebred registered longhaired dachshund pups that will be ready to go in eight weeks. She is now taking deposits on this litter and has two red males that will be available to companion homes on a nonbreeding/neuter contract. Pease go to the Hotspot registered dachshund page to check out her pups and contact her or private message me for her contact info. Champion Admindac Time Waits For No One MSCP AKA Teeter! Teeter is OFA health tested clear for eyes(cerf and PRA clear), heart, patellas and thyroid. He is a Piebald carrier and also carries the chocolate gene. He has a couple of children competing in the confirmation rings this year and seems to be quite the producer.

Meet my new boy from Peurto Rico, Sunrise - Xo A Toast To Admindac MS. Thank You Valerio and Patti Guthrie for entrusting this boy to Admindac. He will start his show career soon. I am very pleased to know that he is also a Piebald carrier and carries for Chocolate. He is health tested for heart , patellas, eyes etc. He is PRA clear.
