My first foray into working with paracord was in whip making. When asked for a matching set of 3 foot performance hybrid whips, I jumped at the chance.

550 Paracord
12 Plait Herringbone Overlay
12 Inch PVC Handle
7 x 6 Turks Head Heel Knot

Although tiny, this whip is super fast and fun to perform with.

Welcome to Laika Leads!

I'm a small (one person) Australian business who specialises in hand making dog leashes from paracord. The name comes from my dog, Laika, who was named after the first brave dog that ventured into space. I hope these products help your little superstars to have fun filled adventures where they are kept safe and sound.

All my products are made using 550 paracord (the same stuff they use to safely jump out of planes!) and all stainless steel fittings (so they don't rust when you take your best friend to the beach).

I have a variety of pre made products or you can message for a custom made leash that perfectly suits your furry friend.
