Beautiful boy!
They've been separated for weeks (during Ember's heat) and will be reunited on Thursday. I can't help but sing the song!
We are expecting to breed Phoenix and Ember this coming Spring - a guaranteed RED litter. I'm so excited!

An update on Phoenix and Ember! How loved they are.
Phoenix has the best temperament of any dog I've ever met. He is slightly timid when he first meets you and then loves you to no end. He is amazingly obedient, and definitely a velcro dog who want to be with you every moment.
Ember is incredibly sweet, and definitely food motivated. She'll do anything for a treat, lol! She greets anyone right away and then stay by them and love on them until they leave. She is higher energy and loves a challenge - including games and running. While she wants to be with you, she's also very independent and will run the entire yard with or without you.
They will be expecting their first liter next year, a guaranteed red litter! We have 2 on the wait list already. We just love watching them grow.
Enjoy the photos!

Some of the best dogs are black tris. A blue merle COULD be pretty but have a bad temperament. Donât over look the black tri. Donât buy a dog only because of the looks but look for temperament, structure, genetics, a good responsible breeder and much more.
To clarify, this post is not to put down blue merles. Iâm simply stating as a breeder blue merles are usually first to go and black tris are left behind. This post is to encourage buying a dog based on multiple factors not just color. The color of a dog doesnât mean it will have good temperament or what not. You can pick a dog based on color but thereâs no promise it will have good temperament, etc. Also, donât buy cheap dogs just because they are cheap.

Look at our beautiful babies growing up!
Yesterday was our first litter's first birthday! Happy birthday to them all!
Great tips!
â˘Pet your dog, all the time
â˘Talk to your dog, all the time
â˘Allow your dog to follow you, all the time
â˘Allow your dog to be on your lap or laying on your feet, all the time
â˘Pet, soothe, comfort your dog when it whines or barks for attention...or is simply anxious
â˘Allow your dog to demand affection/interactions
â˘Be emotionally dependent on your dog
â˘Allow your dog to do whatever it wants, whenever it wants
â˘Provide no structure or rules
â˘Refuse to crate train your dog
â˘Refuse to correct your dog when inappropriate behavior occurs
â˘Refuse to train your dog to be calm, relaxed, and independent by using a âPlaceâ command, and/or âawayâ time in the crate
â˘Allow you and your home to be a free-for-all, where your dog has zero leadership and guidance
â˘Let your dog out of the crate when it whines or barks
â˘Avoid training or anything that makes your dog uncomfortable or unhappy
â˘And many, many more...
Basically, baby, soothe, allow, enable, lean on, and create a toxic dependency...so when you leave, your dog is a mess, because you havenât prepared them to be strong, resilient, robust, independent, and alone.

Does doing these things automatically mean your dog will get separation anxiety? Absolutely not. My dogs are first and foremost my companions. None of my personal dogs have separation anxiety. They are all well rounded Canine citizens. Temperament is one of the top priorities in my breeding program because I have personally seen too many dogs with loose screws.
It's your job as an owner/trainer/handler to know and read your dog. Every dog is different. Every dog needs different things. Every dog has a different training style. It is YOUR job to learn these things. Dogs are smart creatures. They learn through positive and negative experiences. If you touched a hot stove, you'd think twice about touching it next time, right? Dogs are the same. There has been extensive studies from animal behavioralists that looked into what causes Separation Anxiety. Is some of it genetically predisposed? Of course it is. Is some of it taught? Absolutely.
There is no 'one shoe fits all' solution. Every situation has to be analyzed and approached according to what that situation needs. If you are noticing your dog is spiraling in a direction you don't desire and you don't know how to fix it, then contact an animal behavioralist. They will be thrilled knowing that you are being an advocate for your dog and want your dog to be a happy, independent Canine citizen vs being in distress in whatever environment that makes it uncomfortable.
I shared this post as to shed light on what COULD cause separation anxiety. That does not mean they WILL. Restating - EVERY dog is different has different needs. It is YOUR job as the owner to learn your dogs needs!

There's a very loved puppy under there. đ
My daughter thought she needed a cuddle buddy. đ
After bath puppy cuddles!
Ginny had a very fun day!
How loved Ginny is!
Cuddles. đ
Ginny was eating too much, so we've had to start separating them for short periods of time and Mom is not happy. đ
Ginny is a chubby wubby! đ
We have a camera on Luna to check in and talk with her when we are not there. How cute is she?
I am so sorry it has taken so long to post. We have had a long, hard and sad couple of days. Our Luna only had 2 puppies, but unfortunately one passed. It was tough to say the least. Especially on Mom. All are healthy and the vet says she will be just fine - no complications with delivery, just a fluke small litter.
So today we introduce "Ginny" our beautiful Red Mini Aussie. How we adore her. Mom is very protective and greatly enjoying the cuddles. We'll keep you updated!
I spoke too soon! We have one puppy so far!
5 days! She's due in 5 days!
Just a reminder that those who put down a deposit on the litter coming in 3 weeks get their pick in that order! Here's some cuties from the last litter.
They should be ready to come home about July 21st. đ
