Update on Spirit “Valentino:”

The guy who previously owned Valentino did go to court last week. He plead not guilty and will go to trial in September.

I still pray for justice. You cannot plead ignorance when a animal is starving and had medical needs that need attention.

Spirit is gaining his s***k back. That is a good thing! Spink means he’s feeling better and has energy.

The Humane Aociety has been able to increase his alfalfa pellets but he’s still not getting grain. He has free choice hay and is living his days with a mini getting exercise outside. He does have to wear a muzzle but it’s all what is best for him.

The Humane Society did issue a post asking for bedding today. They have locations in Ashland you can drop off to but if you’re in Wooster I can gather up and take to them in Ashland.

I’ll do anything to see that fella!

Shout out! We have a few open auctions but if everyone pays on outstanding closed ones and the open auctions we will be a tad over the goal!!!!!

I have requested an update on Valentino (Spirit) and hoping to let others know how the special guy is doing.

You all have been GREAT helping this crazy horse loving fool raise money for such a sweet creature.

Spirit Valentino, yes I know his name is Spirit but he’s getting a bigger name for his new and wonderful life, was rescued on February 14, 2024 by the Humane Society of Ashland County. Amanda & JJ spent their Valentine’s Day, along with their tribe, saving Spirit.

Spirit has already come so far and has a long way to go. He is 2 1/2 year old Morgan whose growth is stunted from malnourishment, starving, lack of muscle tone as the abusers kept him in a small area.

The Humane Society of Ashland is in need of bedding and alfalfa pellets for him immediately. I wanted to take it farther and make a minimum goal of $1000 donation to them, more if we can! The vet bills alone are astronomical.

This page is to raise money for Spirit Valentino. The money is going to Humane Society of Ashland County for his needs and vet bills.
