We did a training walk, working on calmness and disengagement when meeting or passing other dogs 🐾 he did brilliantly!

Chalky hates having his nails trimmed, he comes to me for 1-2-1 agility sessions at Mendip Agility-so each week at the end of the lesson we’ve been getting him used to having his feet touched and slowly working towards trimming his nails….well, last week he sat beautifully in the back of his van with his mum cuddling him, while I did all his nails on his front feet ❤️
Patience and postive associations is what it’s all about 🐾❤️🐾

Nail trim for this beautiful, super friendly girl 💕
She sat perfectly still for me while her owner cuddled her…then went straight to the rug to try out her new nails 🤣

A week full of nail trims! I visited the gorgeous Pip yesterday, I’ve known Pip since was was a puppy so it was lovely to see her and her owner 💚
She was an absolute star 🌟

Being able to offer nail clipping as a ‘home visit’ service 🐾 especially for those pets that feel worried or stressed visiting the Vets or travelling in the car, really does make a difference!
For many pets a visit to the Vets or a car journey can be worrying or stressful, being able to offer this service in a familiar, comfortable environment helps keep stress to a minimum.
