Hi, my name is Shags, short for Shaggy. I'm approximately 3 years old. Morrisa and Sophie's meowmmy has been feeding me over 2 years outside their door for breakfast and dinner. She always wished she could bring me inside since it's cold and dangerous, but thought I was too feral and had no hope. She also wished she could at least take me to the vet to get my shots, get a bath, nail trim and be a
healthy outdoor cat, but she didn't know how to trap me or where to start. I went missing for over a week and their meowmmy was worried and searched for me and found me at the local shelter on 3/31/2014 and saved me just in time! I was there for almost 8 days! She did whatever it took to get me out of there. I saw her cry tears of happiness when she spotted me in a little cage. She couldn't believe her eyes that she actually found me! I didn't think animal control would ever catch me, but they did. I'm a healthy boy and got all my first shots, got fixed and my first bath! =) They were having a hard time trying to decide their next move for me. Most likely I was going to be released back into the neighborhood until they found out that I was caught by animal control in the other neighborhood across the main street. The pawrents did not want me to cross anymore streets and didn't want anything bad to happen to me so they decided to bring me inside to keep. Meowmmy's wish came true! I now live indoors trying to adjust and I'm now a big brother to Morrisa and Sophie. Couldn't ask for anything more than the unconditional love I get from my new family. Wish me luck! =)
