🐾 6-Month Update: Our No-Kill Journey 🐾
The “No-Kill” movement is about more than just numbers—it’s a promise that every animal deserves a chance at life, love, and a future. A shelter is considered “No-Kill” when it saves 90% or more of the animals entering its doors. Thanks to our community’s support, we are proud to share our January–June 2025 statistics:
📊 Intakes: 346 animals
184 stray dogs
35 stray cats
6 stray livestock
1 stray poultry
2 stray small animals
30 surrendered dogs
50 surrendered cats
2 surrendered small animals
30 seized dogs
4 seized cats
2 seized small animals
📊 Outcomes: 355 animals
60 dogs adopted
25 cats adopted
5 livestock adopted
1 poultry adopted
3 small animals adopted
101 dogs, 1 cat, 3 small animals reclaimed by families
67 dogs, 66 cats, 1 small animal transferred to rescue partners
Sadly, we lost 1 cat and 1 livestock, and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize 10 dogs and 10 cats due to severe medical or behavioral challenges.
✨ Despite those losses, our Live Release Rate is at 94%—which means we are proudly part of the “No-Kill” movement!
💙 None of this would be possible without our adopters, donors, rescue partners, and community members. Together, we are proving that every life matters and that a “No-Kill” future is possible.
🐶🐱🐴 Thank you for standing with us—here’s to the next 6 months of saving lives!
