Registrations for June classes are open!
Starting on 11 June 2023.

We have updated out class syllabus, and shortened the course to 5-weeks instead. Space is limited to for more 1-1 time per puppy and his or her human.

The puppy classes and the foundations course have more or less the same content. The foundations course is for social dogs of all ages and includes the foundation skills puppies must learn.

Dogs are our beloved companions and friends.
We want them to have happy, healthy and fulfilled lives and to take part in family activities, adventures and more.
There’s no getting away from the fact though, that bringing up a dog can feel hard sometimes. Whether this is your first dog, or you’ve had dogs for 20 years, we all face challenges in training, or come up against tricky behaviours that we don’t always know what to do with.
The good news is that no matter how old your dog is, when you brought them home, or whatever challenges you might be facing, there are so, so many kind, effective and force-free solutions that can help….not just your dog, but you too!

I want to introduce you to my colleague Holly.
Holly is a behaviourist and human clinical psychologist too. She helps dogs and their humans to build a trusting, rock solid connection in a way that feels fun and not like a battle.
And she is hosting a free, 14 day virtual event starting Monday 20th February.

Play fighting. How do you know when your dogs are play fighting or actually fighting? During play, the dogs' body language is loose, wiggly and play bows are present. They inhibit the force of their bites and they take turns to chase, be chased, roll on their backs, and take short pauses or breaks in between play. Our Story

-Happy Pack runs classes in both Linksfield and Riverbend, Randburg North. -Happy Pack offers comprehensive Puppy Training and Puppy socialisation courses and dog training. -Classes are held on Sunday mornings from secure locations. -Happy Pack also offers private lessons for those people who can't attend group lessons or have specific training requirements.

We use positive reinforcement to train dogs. Positive methods motivates dogs to learn quickly and eliminates the need to use force. We need to guide our dogs as to what is right from wrong without dampening the dog's enthusiasm for life. By understanding dog behaviour, you can prevent behavioural problems from occurring.
