Giving pickles a shot!

This is a simple recipe with one cucumber, one small head of garlic, two sprigs of fresh dill, some salt, some pepper, and a dash of maple syrup. I filled the jar halfway with water and the other half rice vinegar - we’ll see if they’re any good!

The first big harvest of the season! The cucumbers are adoring all of this wet weather, but unfortunately the potatoes didn’t. We sacrificed that bed, harvested some new potatoes (small, young ones) and replaced them with sweet potatoes.

Ps. Yes, that’s half a bell pepper. The toddler tax was paid 😂

Oh man, post of shame!!

Winnie is a WINSTON. I was so excited for a girl, and didn’t realize kids had their “manhood” so early😂 I’m used to puppies where it’s a clean slate down below, so I mistook that for lady bits in all the chaos.

Anywho…here’s WINSTON and he’ll be for sale eventually 😂
