SOS * SOS* !!!!!Help Needed!!!!!! Funds and or foster/adopter
We have a dog named Nod being boarded in Tennessee (We are in NC). This past weekend there was a death of one of the caretakers at the facility so Nod has to move asap. (We can arrange transport). Boarding anywhere else is way much. We are asking for a Foster/Adopt North Carolina to foster him immediately.
He is a great dog who gets along well w other dogs. He is a pit lab mix who weighs approx 44 lbs, heartworm NEG, and right at a year old. *He is the black dog in the video. Please contact us at [email protected] to help or donate to paypal.me/fscarescue
Thank you in advance for any help. Share this post.

911 Help for Scooter!!! Both DONATIONS and PRAYERS NEEDED!
🚗🚗FRIDAY HELP NEEDED 4 SCOOTER!!!!!
- someone to pick up medicine at Walgreens (across the street from Bluebay) and deliver it across the street to Fairview Vet Clinic for Scooter. PLEASE COMMENT BELOW IF YOU CAN!!🚙🚙
🚨🚨THURSDAY NIGHT UPDATE - We heard from the vet around 6pm tonight. They were over the top busy today. Scooter currently has no feeling from the waist down. Pr the vet, this has probably been going in for 4 to 5 days. The worst part is that he cannot empty his bladder on his own. An xray revealed his bladder was FULL! They put a catheter in overnight and it was much better this morning. 🚨🚨
🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
The current plan is to put him on several different meds we hope will help with the swelling around his disks. Pain killers and some meds to help with urination. Taking these full speed over the 3 day weekend should show some sort of difference - if the meds are going to help. If not, we'll have to make a decision we don't want to make. So please continue to pray and donate! ❤️

Sweet Scooter became part of our rescue yesterday after a 911 call from Stanly County Protective Animal Services! He was not in good shape at all. Couldn't move his back legs, was covered in urine, but otherwise a sweet loving dog (who asked for none of this!) He was immediately transported straight to Fairview Animal Clinic in Albemarle NC, where he spent the night and is still there. He had a FULL bladder he was unable to relieve himself. Sad doesn't begin to describe him!!!! We're waiting for an update. In the mean, we're asking for help. You can either call in a payment strait to the vet - 704 983 6168 (Scooter) or you can click on the link below. Please help with whatever amount you can. Thank you in advance for sharing.
Jeremy ❤️ VIDEO
Available for Adoption
Friends of Stanly County Animals Rescue
We want to remind everyone that Jeremy still waits for his home. He's a 2 to 3 year old Shepherd/Lab Mix who weighs 51 lbs. He's both handsome and loving. He's such a good boy who is in a foster home. Finding him a home will free up that foster to help one of our other dogs stuck in boarding. Adopting one changes 2 lives.
He does great on the lease. He doesn't pull at all. He's very easy to walk. He enjoys taking his time and sniffing his surroundings. He loves to people watch and does great when introduced him to anyone. He loves to ride in the car and does a wonderful job getting both in and out. With a little help, basic commands won't be an issue. He's smart. Please consider this boy.

Meet Gray ❤️
Available for Adoption/Fostering
🚙We can arrange transport🚗
Gray is still waiting with her foster family for her forever home. She's a beauty with a fun personality. She is good with most dogs (if introduced slowly). NO CATS! She hasn't really been around kids, as her current foster has none. She's house and crate trained. She does a little resource guarding with her food, so would just need to be fed separately. (And it's getting better). *Resource guarding happens often with dogs who've been strays. While on their own, they never knew when or where their next meal was coming from. So, they learned to protect what food they had from being eaten by others.* - Feeding separately takes care of that. She is spayed, vaccinated, HW Negative, and microchipped - in other words READY FOR A FOREVER HOME ❤️. If you think Gray may be a good fit for your family, please complete the following application.

Meet Doug ❤️
Currently in boarding-
NEEDS a foster or adopter
-This boy is a Diamond amongst dogs!
*We will Transport!
One of our volunteers picked him up from boarding and took him out on a fieldtrip yesterday! These are her words.
Here is my little write up on Doug. Such a sweet boy and I do hope he soon finds his forever home. I’ll text you some of the best photos and videos:-):
What an adorable doggie package Doug is. If I had to pick one word to describe him it would be “affectionate”. It was a privilege to spend some time today with him. He is a wonderful mix of exuberant puppy and calm, friendly, snuggle bug. Doug came bounding out of the kennel, totally ready for his adventure. First of all we drove to Shelby Farms and he quietly enjoyed the ride from the back of the car. He calmly watched the world go by and seemed very comfortable getting in and out of the SUV …..with a little boost. I think he would be a good traveler.
Doug loved his walk around the woods in Shelby Farms. He wandered companionably with our other foster dog, Marv. He was friendly with all the dogs and humans he met and wagged his tail in greeting. It was a hot day so we sat under a shade tree for a while and Doug laid next to Marv in the grass and they enjoyed some friendly play time, then Doug occasionally sat up to give me kisses. He is such an affectionate little man. I gave him a little wash with the water hose in the park and he just stood there calmly and let me soap him up and dry him off.
Doug has the most beautiful coat and gorgeous brown eyes. He just melts your heart.
We rode on to Starbucks and he savored his puppoccino. We also made a stop at PetCo and he left with a toy, but seemed rather unsure about what to do with it. I’m sure he would love to have someone introduce him to the world of doggie toys and play with him as I feel he has not had much playtime in his life.
We made a stop at a taco truck and sat outside at a table with Doug and Marv.

"This boy is as sweet and laid back as they come"
Doug is a very chill, loving 2 year old,
50 lb boy. He's gentle across the board including how he takes treats. We simply can't stress enough his sweet innocence. He went straight from the shelter to boarding because we had no open foster but wanted to keep him from being put euthanized for space. If youre interested in you'd like the opportunity to get to know him by fostering first, please complete our application

Bandit ❤️ 6 month old Black Lab Puppy NEEDS a Foster/Adopter
Bandit is a handsome black lab puppy maybe 5 to 6 months old. He is as cute as they come. He's good with other dogs and cats. He hasn't been around kids but we think he'd be fine. He's working in his potty training but would do way better with a foster who is home more. His current foster works 10 hour days. He has lots of puppy energy so a fenced in yard or an active foster/adopter would be ideal.

Happy Friday from ANNIE!🥳
We're happy to report that Miss Annie is continuing to improve! She had a good night (eating chicken through the night). She loves being held. And she was whining in her crate this morning. When Rachel went in to check on her, she was standing up looking at her with her tail wagging! That's a first!!! This video was taken this morning! We'll also be posting pictures!
Please continue the prayers for Annie as she continues to get stronger and show more of her personality! ❤️
Annie UPDATE - Wed afternoon
🤕**HELP IS STILL NEEDED!!!☹️
Blood sugars still aren't consistent. She still has an iv and catheter. The vet at CAH highly recommends her returning to the ER vet tonight. We're still in the hole with hardly any donations at all today. 😪😪
She could crash and not make through the night if we don't send her. But that's going to be an additional $600 when we are already still $1400 in the hole. Praying hard for more donations. Please help us!!!

THURSDAY UPDATE-
After speaking w the vet yesterday, we decided to try Annie with her foster last night. She was picked up around 6pm and sent home w meds. The foster was up and down all night checking on her. She ate a little and was given pedialite by syringe throughout the night. There were a few moments of worry. We had already decided to send her to CAH for the day today. We were contacted a little while ago and Annie seems to be doing well. She is off all ivs and eating better. Her sugar level is stead and she seems to be improving. We're very optimistic but know it may not last. I'll get another update soon. Continued prayers and donations. Thanks so much for your support throughout this hard time. We'll give another update later. ❤️
❤️ ANNIE ❤️
🚧DONATIONS STILL NEEDED!🚧
🛑THE AMOUNT STILL NEEDED TO GET US OUT OF THE RED IS $1471 (changing as donations come in)🛑
--ANNIE UPDATE--
8/2/2022 Tuesday Night 11:55pm
Thanks to everyone who has made a donation towards Annie (our neglected 2.5 lb puppy with demodectic mange AND parvo). We also want to ask for continued prayers for her. She has shown some improvement today - even though the vet warned us she wasn't out of the woods yet. We'll take thar as good news for now. No vomiting or diarrhea today AND she nibbled on some chicken. (She has not touch food in days) - So taking a bite to us is huge!! So she's at the ER vet tonight. If she starts eating we won't have to worry about her sugar level bottoming out. So prayers for thar. This video was taken at CAH today. Not much has changed tonight. She's about the same, smelling of and licking the chicken baby food (yuck). But it's progress.
**The current amount needed to get us out of the red includes her going back to CAH tomorrow. After that, charges will be added on. Please keep PRAYING, SHARING, and DONATING. We say this all the time but it bears repeating. We have the BEST followers/supporters a rescue could have. ❤️- We have restarte
