I had the lovely Tony in today for a pamper. A lot of my followers will already know Tony. Tony is a rescue who I rehomed when I worked at a local vet practice. He's stayed with my mum ever since. Tony has good and bad days when he comes for a groom. I tailor his session to suit his needs on the day. Today he wasn't a fan of the dryer around his legs and face. I don't cause unnecessary stress for dogs who visit me. It's just not worth it. I want their experience with me to be positive. Tony fell asleep during his deshed, but next time he might hate it, who knows! Prior to me starting grooming, Tony's nails had to be done under general anaesthetic because there was absolutely no way anyone could do them otherwise, it was tricky to even get a muzzle on! Because of this his nails have become so long, however we've been working on this and successfully trimmed all nails during each groom, whilst lay down on a fluffy mat of course! And of course, Winston was the perfect support buddy for Tony.
