With everything going on this weekend, Cocoa was hit in the driveway. Very sad day for all of us, Hadilynn picked a spot by a little creek, under a tree for her. Cocoa was a few days shy of her 6th birthday.

This red merle female was out of the Oct. 14, 2023 litter between Hash Tag and Grey. Her new owner has developed health issues and cannot keep her, I will be getting her back. She is up to date on shots, not spayed, her papers are AKC and ASCA, she might be interested in herding, we will see when she comes home to me. Grey does herding and has some titles in herding offspring.
Let me know if anyone is interested.

“This kid dialed 911 telling the dispatcher he was running away from home after an argument with his mother. This officer arrived talked to the kid and went into his bedroom which was empty outside of a deflated blowup bed. The young man essentially slept on the floor.

The officer encouraged the boy to stay home. The child’s mother facing a tough financial hardship. The officer left and soon returning with a bed, a television and a game system. The child was elated beyond words. Not all angels wear wings! Thank you officer!!!!” ❤️❤️

Post from a local Beekeeper 🐝
“Its late, and maybe in the morning I'll delete this post, but I've just got home and for now I need to write this down.
Earlier this evening I received a message from a home owner to say they had a swarm of bees in their hedge, but they were worried about them because children had been throwing water at them.
By the time my fellow beekeeper and I arrived, what had been a beautiful prime swarm was reduced to a few hundred drenched bees, huddling limply around their queen.
I've already deleted the photos of the puddles of water, the dripping wet hedge, and the many, many dead and dying bees that hadn't been able to escape the attack; sharing those pictures serves no purpose.
We gently placed the bees that had survived into a collection box, and hopefully tomorrow, when they've had chance to dry out and settle, we'll check on them and if necessary feed them; they'll be exhausted and possibly (understandably) defensive. They've been through a lot.
Please, please, help me to educate your children, your grandchildren, your neices and nephews, your neighbours, your colleagues and your friends that a swarm of bees isn't dangerous - they're amazing creatures that are just looking for a new home.
Please don't let anyone harm them. Just call a beekeeper who will gladly rehome them.
Please help me to spread this message and hopefully save any more bees from being unnecessarily harmed” 😢

These pups have had quite a bit of company! The grandkids just love them, yesterday they had several sets of company, the week before, a friend of mine came from Santa Fe and brought her female to breed to Jack. She stayed with me, the pups are seeing a lot of activity.

They were born in the horse trailer and it stayed on the well site for several weeks, then I brought the trailer up to my house at about 4 weeks so they were easier to feed. And they were closer, They are definitely outdoor dogs. They have lived in the horse trailer but now they are starting to want out, they are wanting a little more freedom. They have never lived or even been in the house.

Both mom and dad have done some trialing, Dad is my go to dog, if I am moving cows at all, he is my pick. Two merle females and two tri males are still available.
