This photo is of one of our proven dams and shows how hard the season is treating our cows. The heifer calf at foot is by Silverstream Padra and we hope she goes on to breed progeny into the Bardoo herd as good as her Mum has.

This set of twins makes number 20 for the year from 148 cows. At Bardoo we always have a high rate of twins and it is common to have 20 sets per year from 240 cows. The twins are from all our stud sires with the fertility coming from the cow side being that she ovulated two eggs. We put it down to the nutrition levels and fertility in the cow herd!
