Lauren has 30 years of riding experience, mounting up on the first pony at the tender age of 3. She was a Burlington County 4-H rider for many years and showed in the Hunters until the age of 19. In her early 20's, Lauren began to shift her interest to trail riding and focused on the fun of horse ownership instead of showing. Lauren previously taught at Camp Ockinickon in Medford and a private fa
rm in Moorestown, as well as volunteering at the Unicorn Handicap Riding Program. Her dream has always been to turn her passion into a business that will help other people realize the beauty of our equine friends. After a hiatus from the horse world, Lauren acquired her mare, Thunder in November 2013. After some planning, L & S Lessons and Training, LLC was born in February 2014. This was closely followed in March 2014 with the the arrival of our lesson pony, Tigger, and our Quarter Horse Teddy arrived in December 2014. L & S Lessons and Training, LLC is located at the farm where Lauren's love of horses started 30 years ago. The farm is on Chairville Rd in Southampton, NJ. Children and Adult students are welcome and group lessons for two students at a time can be scheduled. Lauren is very accommodating and has a flexible schedule for lessons.
