Cooper and I are back from the funeral of officer Joshua Phipps. After all the stories I feel like I knew this man. Meeting Josh’s family today was a honor but possibly the saddest I’ve ever seen a family. They are hurting bad so keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks to everyone in the Russel county building, The Justice center, All of the sheriff’s department and Sheriff Derek Polston for their hospitality in their time of sadness. I think Cooper was a boost to there spirits in this time of horrible sadness. Cooper has a special thanks for the multiple bowls of water 🐾

Cooper loves his vest and gets very excited when he puts it on. He kinda carries himself differently and seems proud. I am glad he don’t know why we’re going to Jamestown but he will feel the sadness soon. Thanks to Wanda for converting his vest to honor

19 years ago today I visited the World Trade Center site it was all construction metal fences with construction equipment everywhere but all those fences there were covered with pictures what are you doing what’s he want from you involving many of them had stories with the pictures describing the people that they lost. If there is someone in your family that does not remember this please take the time to explain to them what happened September 11, 2001.
