About the trainer: Adrienne Janet Farricelli CPDT-KA:
Adrienne's passion for training animals starts in early childhood, training cats to run down hills at the blow of a whistle and training horses to do tricks. In 2006, Adrienne started working for an AAHA animal hospital and then in 2007 she dedicated several hours as a shelter volunteer fostering pets in need of temporary homes. In 2008, Adrien

ne started training dogs in her spare time and in 2010, (after undergoing 219 hours of apprehentship under the guidance of a master dog trainer) she obtained certification as a dog trainer by APICC, the Italian Association for Dog Trainers and Canine Consultants. After giving classes in basic and advanced obedience and spending the summer teaching Canine Freestyle, Adrienne obtained certification by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Adrienne uses scientifically based training methods focusing on the rewarding world of positive reinforcement training. Her home is surrounded by dog books and her certification program requires her to stay up-to-date with the latest dog training/dog behavior trends. Since 2005, Adrienne is also an expert dog writer and has published several articles pertaining dogs. She oversees the dog training and dog psychology channels for a freelance writing site and work as a consultant for dog training and dog behavioral problems. She has over 1,000 followers on her dog blog and has created two dog related websites which are steadily gaining in popularity. Adrienne is an advocate for the Rottweiler breed and works hard on preventing breed stereotyping for this breed that is not for everyone. As a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild, Adrienne engages in force-free training methods and has successfully used them to work with challenging dogs. She is currently owned by her two beloved Rottweilers, Petra and Kaiser, her cats Mocha, and Mousse and her 16 chicken.
