What a fun class to lead this week! The kiddos got their hands dirty (mostly with glue and glitter 😆) to create beautiful Affirmation Portraits! 🎨✂️

This is a fantastic way to get kids talking positively about themselves and a wonderful way for adults to do the same. What we tell ourselves daily becomes the soundtrack to our lives and these portraits are a reminder that we have so many great qualities to share!

Whether you're planning a girls night in or a kid's birthday party, art kits are quickly becoming a go-to choice because they solve two of the biggest hurdles of hosting - entertainment and party favours!

While having someone like me come and teach a creative skill is a fantastic choice (and one that I offer of course) art kits are a great alternative. They provide your guests with an immersive experience and unique keepsake with minimal waste and maximum fun!

In the months to come I look forward to sharing many options for kits, including but not limited to, crochet, wood crafts, canvas painting, paper crafting, clay and much more!

Who else can say their "work" is also the thing they do to relax?

 Hi friends! Many of you here already know me but for those who are new, I'm Rayann, and I’ve spent years getting lost in the rhythm of artistic, hands-on work. What started as hobbies have turned into a deep passion for creating—and now, I want to share that magic with you!

I’m so excited to officially launch The Mindful Maker, a space dedicated to private lessons and creative workshops for small groups of people, from kids to adults!

Whether you’re a total beginner who’s never held a tool or artistic materials before, or a seasoned maker looking for a creative escape, there’s a seat at the table for you.

Most people think learning an artistic skill is complicated, but I’m here to show you that with the right guidance, anyone can make something beautiful. At The Mindful Maker, my workshops and lessons are designed to be a "creative escape"—a place to slow down, connect with like-minded people, and leave with a finished piece you’re proud of.

Hey folks! Hope everyone is staying warm during this chilly start to the new year! ❄️

I'm switching things up a bit on the page and instead of posting items for a single campaign, I'll be sharing items that are avaliable any time throughout the year and donating from sales once certain targets are hit. Hello everyone! It's been a minute, but I'm back to offer a new little something for you. For the remainder of the summer, I'm offering these super handy crochet market bags for only $25! Use them for groceries, the beach, or just on a weekend stroll. Multiple colours are available, just let me know your preference, and I'll see if it can be done.

This campaign is dedicated to a rescue very close to my heart, Underdogs Rescue in Edmonton, AB. Not only is it run by a dear friend, but with the help of her amazing team, this rescue strives to change the narrative around power breed dogs and the reputations they are unfairly given in society. Since Covid, the rescue has suffered greatly with funds. I am hoping this helps even just a little bit.

From their website: "Through education and dedication we want to see people embrace these largely misunderstood dogs without fear or misconception. We want to be part of a society, and community, that encourages responsible pet ownership. We are dedicated to support and encourage legislation without breed profiling."

Underdogs Rescue is a fully volunteer run, not for profit organization. They are committed to the re-homing of these dogs through rescue, rehabilitation, training and care to responsible and loving homes.
