Hard to tell. But all the kittens are in my room where I sleep. They are all sleeping with me every night. They have finally stopped nibbling at my hair and playing with my eyelashes.

Babies got baths. As you can see in the first picture they were so gross. They are not getting the grooming part down and have messy p**ps that they constantly step in. Bathing tiny kittens takes a long time- have to make sure they are completely dry as they don't have a lot of padding to keep warm.

Little stripe nosed Malcolm is the messiest and wipes cannot get the level of p**p and litter caked on his paws- there is no keeping up with him as he is frequently using the litter box- poor tiny guy. He is clingy to me like my toddler is. At least today, I'm ok with him on my lap with snuggles.

This little one can climb the 4 foot metal fence.. and escape. At least 4 times now.
If they weren't such messy kittens I'd give them more space. Dont make me move y'all to the bathroom!

Back to fostering we went...
Tiny kittens we said..

We got cute and tiny kittens! (Especially tiny, they're underweight, so we started supplementing with kmr. Mom is underweight too and kittens aren't moving to dry food fast enough- their tummies and their butts are so sore.)

They really want to have more space, but they are big messes and can squeeze through the bars of the floor fence - so some weaving needs done first!!

They are doing well, and just look at these faces!!

We are back at it!!!
This mama reached out for help. She was found with 3 kittens at someones doorstep. Mama needed help and asked for it.
They came to Second Chance Pet Adoptions about a week ago. Mama apparently left 2 more of her kittens at another house's doorstep down the street. They joined the crew a few days later.
Mama is a medium hair black and white with long whiskers. 4 kittens are black and white (luckily have different white features) and a random calico.
They are all underweight and a p**py mess. They need wipe bathed multiple times a day- litter and p**p all stuck to them. I'm a bit concerned that they are not nursing or eating enough. Weigh in later today and then the evening after I know they have nursed and eaten.
Their butts are so sore, irritated and p**p matted that a clear gender is not entirely apparently - but pretty sure we have 3 boys and 2 girls.
Mama is over being a mama and enjoys having a higher space away from them... But that higher space ended up getting taken away when one of the kittens squeezed through the cage bars this morning. They are now in a soft playpen with a top and no bars. Mama has gotten some time out in the room to relax.
This crew is super sweet. Mama is super chill. No fear of the one year old human tyrant (who is actually really gentle with cats- only one of our 4 resident cats actually enjoys her attention- strange cats.)
