This little baby has been such a trooper. He has continued to have stomach issues for over 2 weeks now. After multiple visits to the vet, they noticed suspicious looking gas patterns in his x-ray images. They strongly suggested an exploratory surgery to see if anything else could be blocking his small intestines. Nothing was found in the surgery. Though this is frustrating news since we were hoping to solve this problem, we are trying to stay positive since we are sure there’s not a second blockage. Unfortunately, Darcy now has to recover for another 2 weeks and we still don’t actually know what’s causing the problem. Next steps are changing his food again and also getting referred to internal medicine. Hopefully we can get this handled in the near future.
