I was offered a free 10 month old male Border Collie puppy with papers from a breeder. Reportedly, his shots are up to date, and he has 1 grey & 1 brown eye. The young pup is in Alabama. It's been up in the air if I can make the necessary arrangements to obtain him in a reasonable amount of time.

📰 In other news, I was asked to help with the "wild behavior issues" of a beautiful Great Pyrenees dog in North Carolina. By looking at the pictures, I deduced he might be just a misunderstood pup. Because of its unique characteristics, The Great Pyrenees is a frequently abandoned domestic breed. My success with training my Great Pyrenees to become a Service Dog stemmed from growing my knowledge about the breed, applying supportive training, and loads of patience over time.

🐶 Like most of my behavior modification clients, educating the family about their dog is the crucial & most difficult aspect of my work. Dog training is usually easy! Stay tuned for more pupdates. Woof!

Dog care question: When was the last time you washed your pup’s leash? You may be surprised how dirty it gets, even the retractable leashes. Pop regular leashes in the washing machine or walk by hand. To clean retractable ones, pull the riɓbon/string all the way out, then lock it. Handwash the ribbon/string with soap. Be careful not to get water in the holding case. Hang up to dry, preferably overnight. Resume normal use. 🕑🐕‍🦺 After a week of being in awe of the mesmerizing sentimental gifts from @tikvahgsd. Stunning Tikvah and her fabulous human mom have added delightful loyalty to 12 Paws Foundation for a long time 🥰🕑 🐶 In 2017, my favorite GSD breed became the vice president in my 2nd published book, Oreo for President: An American Tail by Mama B McCarter. 😪😪😪 Then, losing 3 pups in 3 years was very tough. A few friends like Tikvah's mom gently held my hand & heart behind the scenes, at the passing of pups Sashabutt to Oreo, to most recently, Sweet Nala. 🎯🐕‍🦺Enjoy as I use a desensitization tactic with my Service Dog in training, Seren the Newbie. When she showed a fear of unusual statues, I simply hung around them, touched them, talked nicely to them, and remained calm. We then walked down the street and returned minutes later to repeat the process over again. Using an affirmative voice, petting, and heakthy treats, Seren eventually recognized statues as natural occurances in life. I love training Service Dogs and canine pets as well. Our Story

“The Need Is The Lead”

We train, evaluate, reevaluate, support & test Service Dogs. We also invite you to follow the training of certain Service Dogs as well as. One of my ultimate loves is teaching the world, {especially children}, about the importance of Service Dogs and how mine affects me in my now as my body changes.

My biography from childhood up to 5 years ago with my very 1st Service Dog.
