Dry house during the winter? has you covered!

I’m fairly new to humidifier use since we didn’t use heaters often in Southern California. But now that we live somewhere with seasons, this is a life saver!
My favorite feature is the Humidistat. It has a smart mist sensor that monitors humidity levels and adjusts according to your desired setting. Which is great for people like me who are new to this season called winter. 🤣 ❄️
I also really love this sleek tall design (I’ve only had ugly wide humidifiers in the past) and this one can be top filled which… I don’t know about you but our last humidifier I would spill water everywhere while flipping over the tank.
You can also add essential oils to this cute little drawer in the back of the humidifier and it makes the house smell so good!! (We got peppermint)
This humidifier also has a cool light feature, it auto shuts off when the tank is empty and is insanely quiet!

I’m so ready for season!

I went almost every weekend last year. And I’ve already purchased my season pass for 2023. 🤣
It changed every week because different rows would bloom and it was such a fun place to roam with the dogs in the mornings.

I will forever share this photo or Chevy in her antlers and 6 month old Pigpen trying to figure out what’s on her head. 🤣
Any time you put something on Chevys head, she freezes and her eye bug out. 🤣

Did you know that November is adopt a senior pet month?

will reimburse adoption fees of senior (age 5+) pets, up to $200 per pet, adopted from shelters and rescues in the US and Canada in the month of November. This is one of my favorite campaigns they do.

Harley is 9 years old and still hikes 8-10 miles with me on weekends. She’s a super star of a senior dog. She’s not slowing down any time soon.

While Chevy is also 9, blind, has a hard time walking, she’s not the most convincing reason to adopt a senior dog health wise, but she is by far the best couch potato ever and has SO MUCH LOVE to give.

And then Mr. Crazy pants Pigpen is 5, and so full of energy. He doesn’t seem like a senior at all!

The face of a dog who doesn’t fall for “the treats are all gone, Chevy” or “no more”.
We picked up some Pig ears over the weekend and forgot to bring them in the house. They were sitting on a chair in the garage. For the last two days Chevy has been wanting to go in the garage. And she just stands by the door. I kept telling her that’s not the back door thinking she’s the stupid one. Nope. It’s me. Im the stupid one and she hasn’t forgotten where we left the pig ears. 🤣

We moved from California to Washington a few months ago and I LOVE all our new pet stores.
I have used store locator on their site quite often since moving to find our new favorite spots to buy Stella and Chewy’s food and it’s been awesome. We recently discovered which I had heard of before through Instagram posts, but I had no idea I was so close to one. It was the best experience from the moment I walked in the door. The staff was so friendly, and the store was well stocked with Stella and Chewy’s. I was impressed and very happy to spend my money there.
Do you shop small or shop the big box pet stores? (No judgement here) I will admit, in California I usually went to whatever store was closest or I ordered online because I didn’t want to sit in traffic. I will go out of my way to shop at again!

Seriously considering hiring to just follow me around and take photos of my dogs for me.
She took this photo of Chevy in a fern and I want it hanging on my wall. I’ve been dying for a fern photo since the fern photo trend started years ago. They were hard to find in California.
Also I’m now very impressed with all of you who have big dogs that you shove in ferns. 😂😂

Check out our new 32x24'' feeding mat from .
Yeah you read that right, it’s huge!
Ever since Chevy had all her teeth removed over a year ago, her mushy food tends to go up and over the edge of the food bowl, onto the floor and even up the walls. (I mean, she has to lick her food until it ends up in her mouth 😅)
We tried a smaller mat, it was fabric, pretty small (more of an decorative feature) and so hard to wash. I was done with that, I threw it away and have been using dish towels for a few months until we found this mat.
I think the best part about this mat is the lip around the edge. (see last photo) Food and water stays on the mat when you carry it to the sink to rinse it off, and it’s textured so Chevy’s bowl doesn’t slide around. Score!

Do you let your dog play in the mud or are you boring and keep your dog out of it? 😆
And yes, yes I did take him home in my brand new car I’ve only had for 6 weeks.
Life is short, play in the mud. 😂

But this brings me to a different point. How many of you get the Lepto vaccine for your dogs? It was never something I considered living in California. We had like 3 rainy days a year. And puddles were so rare they made for breaking news stories on the morning news. (I wish that was a joke)

She can’t see very well so maybe she’s wondering when the paddle board will come pick her up. 🤣
