Just a quick refresh of the auction rules for new folks:

Welcome to Herd About Rescue's On-Going, Online Auction page! This is an on-going auction because we will post new items every few days over the next few months! Check back often as we have some really great things for you to bid on!

1. How To Bid: In order to bid, place a comment in the comment section under the photo of the item you would like to bid on. The opening bid amount is shown on each photo and each subsequent bid after the opening bid being met must increase in minimum of $1.00 increments. Bids not following this format will be considered void.

2. Buy Now: Some items are listed as ‘Buy Now’ and instead of bidding, can be bought outright for the amount shown on the listing. To purchase a Buy Now item, post “BUY” in the comment section under the photo. Payment for Buy Now items is due within 48 hours of you posting your Buy Now comment. Payment can be sent to [email protected].

3. Winning Bidders: After an item closed for bidding, the winner will be notified both in the comments section of that item as well as by private message, on Facebook messenger. Bids placed after the close time will be void. Herd About Rescue retains the right to make the final decision on a winning bid if there is any debate or confusion.

4. Please honour your bids if you win. This is for rescue and the funds are desperately needed. Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay the amount should you win. All winning bidders are asked to please pay for their items within 48 hours of the item closing time. Payments should be sent to [email protected] (please indicate the item number you are paying for, and your Facebook screenname in the comments of your E-transfer). If payment is not received within 48 hours, the winning bid will be considered void, the item will be placed back up for auction, and you will be banned from further participation in the auction.

5. Some items will have a mailing cost associated and this will be clearly marked on the item. The mailing cost is on top of the winning bid and must be paid along with the winning bid amount.

6. All items are "as is" and no returns or exchanges will be allowed. Herd About Rescue offers no warranties or guarantees on any item. Herd About Rescue reserves the right to add or remove any item, at any time during the full run of this auction.

7. By bidding or participating in this auction, you agree that you have read the rules listed here and agree to abide by them fully.

8. Thank you for bidding, for your support, and for helping the dogs in our care! We send along enormous tail wags of thanks!!
