So this is a very special video we shot last training session..
None of us(except maybe head decoy Darren Racine ๐๐คฃ) expected it to all come together the way that it did.
This is our club dog Bren(handler: Kristi Christie) being worked by Darren last Saturday.
A little background on Bren:
We nicknamed him โthe little ball of hateโ at our club. ๐
๐ก๐บ This little spitfireโs answer to being told to โoutโ or that he was โdoneโ; would be to take a huge chunk out of your ass.. ๐ฌโ ๏ธ ๐๐ฆ And it didnโt matter who you were either aka a decoy, a spectator standing closeby or his handler. ๐ณ๐คญ
We had to teach Bren that going after his handler and club-mates WAS NOT THE ANSWER. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ ๐๐

โโ๏ธ There were many days and nights where blood, sweat and tears were shed.. Literally. ๐ฉธ๐ง๐ญ
But with consistency, a great training plan, guidance and support from our head decoys Darren and Dale.. Bren made his big breakthrough last Saturday! ๐ฅฒ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
We just want to commend Brenโs handler Kristi as well! This fiery woman was incredibly committed. ๐ฑ๐ช๐ผ๐ช๐ผ๐ช๐ผ She showed up every club day with Bren, did her homework with him and persevered through the challenging sessions(of which there were many ๐๐ณ).
All that passion and dedication PAID OFF!!! ๐ค๐ฅณ๐

Hey everyone, heres a cell phone video of Jess and Genny doing the PDC bite work routine. She scored 77.5 out of 90, great job guys. Sorry for the poor quality, itโs a cell phone and we were looking into the sun. Most points were lost because the dog didnโt bark when she was supposed to. Will get it next time. Oh yeah, ignore me I talk too much.
