I have a new friend in shop and boy is he fabulous!!! Her Wild Adventures Taxidermy brought him in yesterday and he’s a big guy- the stretch of his horns is more than 3 feet!! She uses a special metal paint- this one specifically is copper based so it has a fantastic patina- the picture does no justice.

I got some skulls finished and dropped off yesterday. Only a few more and a couple of mounts and 2024 jobs will be done.

This last year has been full of first for me. I'm honored to have been trusted with my first Pronghorn. They are for sure an unusual animal. This form I altered to a hard right turn and turned the nose down a bit to show off the horn hooks better.

I finished this Mule Deer Buck. He is extra special to me and will stay in my shop. He was harvested in 1992 but a dear friend of ours.

I did the finish work on the spike elk and took photos of him outside today. He is just too adorable.

Last week I took a step out of my comfort zone and attended an elk class with the amazing Kiernan Hull. I am beyond greatful to her and Scott for teaching me everything they did. It was an awesome experiance and so many memories made. Thank you so SO much!
