As a lover of dogs I have always helped family, friends and neighbours with any dog walking or pet care and decided recently to make it more permanent.

I feel extremely privileged that people allow me to share the care of their fur babies and am very happy to be their ‘Aunty Sharon’ and help ensure they are content when their family is not around. The main services I offer are dog walking and house/pet sitting, I am unable to board pets myself which is why I offer to stay in your home and take care of them. There are many good reasons why this is

beneficial and can aid in your pets happiness and comfort while you are away. Relying on neighbours, friends and family members can sometimes be awkward and house sitting is an ideal solution as you can be satisfied they are getting the care they need while remaining in familiar surroundings with their normal daily routine. This will cause less stress and worry about the absence of their family and, of course, make sure they are getting all the affection and attention they need. All pets need different requirements according to age, breed and other factors, this way you can be sure they will receive exactly what is best for them and what they are used to. As a family you can enjoy a stress free holiday knowing they will be loved as much as if you were there with regular updates on how they are doing. I have quite an extensive knowledge of the local area and feel it is beneficial for dogs to experience lots of different places to stimulate the senses. Dogs can become bored and destructive or misbehave if they are not exercised or entertained suitably, cats are well known for being creatures of habit and independent and may not take kindly to being restricted in an unfamiliar territory. Pet sitting ensures that your dog can be surrounded by its favourite things and your cat can curl up in its favourite spot with their normal diets, own beds and happy home. There is also the added benefit of security for your home, knowing someone is coming and going, a car on the drive as well as taking care of your pets. I prefer one to one walks (unless, of course, there is more than one dog per household) as I like to maintain a personal relationship, build trust and create a friendship between myself and your dog. This may not be possible during busy periods, please let me know if you would not be comfortable with this. Depending on requirements, following a walk your dog will be cleaned if necessary, fed or given treats if that is their normal routine plus lots of cuddles, before being settled making sure they have fresh water and their favourite toy to hand. I will keep regular contact with updates on behaviour, photos and where they have been or if there is something you need to know about. There is no minimum requirement but please be aware due to busy periods it is advisable to check availability at least 10-14 days prior to booking if possible but I will certainly do my best to accommodate any emergencies or late bookings. House/pet sitting can be from one night to however long the duration of your stay away subject to availability. I am mostly based around Cam and Dursley and can also do surrounding areas but please be aware additional fuel costs may need to be charged depending on distance travelled. All services can be flexible and adapted to suit any requirement, all costs are calculated according to individual need and will reflect on how many animals need my care. Discounts may be available for regular custom. Please feel free to call or message with any queries but please note it may be easier for me to respond to a message than a call due to driving to various locations or having adventures out walking but I will always get back to you as quickly as I can.
