Reminder:
❄️ 🐈🐈 ❄️ This simple act can save an animal’s life this winter.
During the cold weather, outdoor cats and kittens will seek shelter in your vehicle for warmth.
❄️ 🐈🐈 ❄️ Before starting your car, bang on the hood and honk the horn. This gives the cats & kittens a chance to exit before you start the engine. Also, check your wheel wells for cats hiding.

Get your kitty kick sticks!! They are amazing tubes of awesomeness you're kitty can't resist!! It's not "Cats-mas" without a gift for kitty!

Ever wonder why kitties love our kickers so much? We use finely shredded stalkless catnip and distribute it throughout the p**f inside the stick; so every kick gets a whiff off goodness!

🐾Kitty tested, kitty approved!🐾

❄️2 for $5 PLUS $5 shipping on orders up to 10 sticks!

❤️All orders will be shipped by Friday December 13th.

**Fabric for kick sticks is chosen at random. I promise I will try my best to give you what you've asked for if there is a specific pattern you see that you like. Not all the fabric is the same length and we cannot guarantee a specific pattern. We have a few 2023 designs leftover. **

Comment below the pattern and quantity you are interested in! If you don't care about the pattern, just say "random" and I'll send you a variety!

Indiana spay neuter transport dates and locations for December 2024. To schedule your cat or dog for a surgery, please call our transport line at 317-675-0072 and leave a message. You can also visit our website at www.lowcostspayneuterindiana.org to complete an online submission form to start the appointment process. We do not transport for vaccines only; however, vaccinations can be done at the same time as a spay, neuter, or dental. We do not require an appointment for feral cats; therefore, you can bring up to 2 feral cats per day per person. Please keep in mind that for some transports we are booking out several months. Also, some locations have been temporarily postponed and some check-in or return times have changed. We look forward to caring for your pets!

👽We are searching for our LAST 5 sponsors for the 6th Annual Zombie Prom Fundraiser!

🧟 Do you own a small business or know someone who does? Do you love kitties??

🧟‍♂️ All sponsors are listed on the website, event page, event t-shirt, venue marketing, (logo poster, table tent, ect.) and will receive 2 FREE admission tickets to Zombie Prom.

🧟‍♀️ Can’t commit to be a sponsor, but would still love to help?? Come dance the night away at the event with us! Or gift a pair of tickets/let us gift them for you if you can’t make it!

🪐How much does your pet LOVE their name?? Do they like to hear it followed by scritches and snuggies?? Well, how about seeing it on a tshirt? Do they love to look at themselves in the mirror while you tell them how good of a baby they are? Well, how about seeing their own face on our event page, website, AND on their very own poster at our event? I bet they would love it!! Ask your pet if they would like to sponsor our event for $25- did we mention they get a FREE tshirt to show all their friends?

👩‍🚀For those we’ve been in communication with, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your consideration and commitment to our feline friends!

Please let us know if you have any questions!!

We hope to make this year’s event the most memorable as it will be our final Zombie Prom fundraiser and we would love to include you in our final year!!

We have very unfortunate news to share...
Today we had 15 cats surrendered to us. Yes, 15 cats.

EDIT: The reasoning? A woman’s family member had a stroke and went into a nursing home, the family member had 20 cats. The woman wanted to keep the cats, but her husband would not let her. They tried to have other people they know take some, but unfortunately no one would take them… so far they have brought us 15.

We are not here to shame anyone or judge anyone, but we are officially at capacity with cats.

We are transparent with the fact that we may euthanize for space because we do not close our doors. We are extremely limited with space, funding, and resources. We NEED help!

We quickly realized some of these cats are sick, which can be incredibly devastating for all cats in our care currently. We cannot completely separate them from the cats that are not sick due to lack of space in our building, but we will obviously do everything we possibly can to keep all of these babies healthy so they can find a forever home.

This post is to urge our community members to PLEASE spay/neuter your pets. PLEASE get them proper medical care from a licensed and reputable veterinarian. PLEASE do not overwhelm yourself with a tremendous amount of animals if you may not be able to care for them in the future.

If you would like to come adopt one or two of our cats in our previous post that we had made regarding which cats are currently available, please do. We need YOUR help. Please share our posts and help us spread awareness.

Our open hours are 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday. Our phone number is 812-346-5725 if you have any questions.

Thank you for reading.

🐈🐈Sign Up Today🐈🐈

Friends of CACS Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic has been notified that the vendors will be raising prices in July. Register by June 30th to get the lower cost.

If you have a cat that needs fixed, please apply TODAY to help us reduce the flow of animals into the shelter!

❗Complete the quick and easy application found at this link.
https://www.columbus.in.gov/animal-care-services/spay-and-neuter-clinic/
❗When contacted by text that we are ready to schedule your pet, please promptly respond to secure that appointment. If you are having financial issues, please ask the volunteer if assistance may be available.

As a responsible pet owner, fixing your feline(s) helps control the cat population, one cat at a time!

It helps decrease the number of homeless cats and kittens brought as strays into the shelters, which are already full beyond capacity. Most shelters animals come from unintended pregnancies.

Cats can be spayed or neutered as young as eight weeks old and two pounds.

It is recommended to schedule the surgery before your cat turns five months old. It is possible to spay a cat while she is in heat.

Unfortunately, there remains a significant waitlist for dogs. Volunteers are working diligently to try and secure additional appointments to address those on the list.

Should you need services more quickly, we recommend you contact the following services.
