Born in Hayle, Cornwall in 1957, I have grown up and lived in the area all of my life. I attended the local school and on leaving had the opportunity to go to Art College. Due to the family's financial situation I was unable to take up this position and entered full-time empl
oyment. I became a painter & decorator, before becoming a tin miner at South Crofty Tin Mine. Finally I became a property developer, designing and building numerous properties. I have been married for 34 years and have two children. After painting on and off all of my life I decided in 2007 to retire from property development and take up painting full time. The works you see here are the result of that decision. I hope you enjoy them.
