Our Story

Von Katzenmiau is a boston terrier home kennel associated in the Polish Kennel Club (ZKwP) member of the FCI.

For most of our lives, we were accompanied by dogs - mutts, crossbreeds and a pedigree Australian Silky Terrier, but it was the Boston Terrier that had stolen our hearts and introduced us to the world of dog shows and breeding.

Our cats have accompanied us for years when a little Boston Terrier named Greta Garbo came with us from the Jantarowa Chata kennel in Gdansk. Our youngest female cat - Honda began to meow when she saw the new family member. We also found out that Greta's great-great-grandmother, mother of a famous US Champion and Westminster Winner Flashpoints Cosmic Ray was called Cat’s Meow, hence the name of our kennel “von Katzenmiu” literally “from the Cat’s Meow”.

At the beginning of our breeding and showing adventure we surrounded ourselves with experienced mentors who have been showing and breeding Bostons Terriers and other breeds for years, and who professionally deal with dogs in veterinary, behavioral, and handler practice. We assume that the health and sustainability of dogs are the most important. We spare no resources for prevention and training. Our Bostons are family members, and thanks to our free-lance professions they spend very little time alone at home. They accompany us in everyday household activities, and also socialize in public places like restaurants, at our friends' homes and at dog meetings.
