Thank you SOO much to everyone who came out last night to shop my pottery sale! My hope is that those pieces bring you joy & a smile when you use them. It certainly made me incredibly happy to see the crowd of people looking over my pottery as if they were precious jewels. It was like Black Friday there for a second! (Thanks for everyone’s patience as I did a lot of math checking you out. 🫣) I didn’t take any pics of the whole set up!! I was too busy!
It is rewarding to know that my artwork is appreciated by so many friends, family, and new friends I met even last night. I immediately felt the support for my artwork from the Baton Rouge community when we moved here. I hope the you all will continue to support local artisans so we can bring those special touches of joy to your life! There is value to art and loving something for it simply being beautiful. 🤍🤍

🌼Special thanks to who opened up her studio for my sale! Wasn’t it a gorgeous space?? Her artwork is made with pressed flowers and she hosts workshops in her studio where you can make your own artwork! Definitely check it out!!

It’s OFFICIAL! We are moving!! POTTERY SALE!!
Zach got a job as an Assistant Professor of English! So we are moving to Talladega, Alabama in a few weeks! 😱
But first! I want to make sure I give my wonderful friends here in Baton Rouge a chance to snag some of my pottery before I go!

🌮If you aren’t worn out by then, keep walking another block towards Barracuda taco for the Mid City Makers artists!

On Saturday, April 6th from 3-5PM, hang out with Amanda at Local Supply where you’ll be able to make your own pottery flower pot! From shaping it using a clay slab, to adding your own decorations and colors, create a piece of functional art to bring a pop of color to your space. After creating your flower pot, Amanda will bring the piece home to be glaze fired in the pottery kiln, and can be picked up from Local Supply within 2-3 weeks 🔥

The story with Oscar and his Mardi Gras beads is short and sweet... One day he got out of the house and somehow wandered back home wearing Mardi Gras beads. 😆 Can you imagine? True story! When Chloe ordered a mug for their family dog, we had to incorporate a nod to their favorite story of late Oscar. (I wish I had a pic of him wearing the beads, but you can see that Oscar loved wearing all the fashion necklaces!)
