With the unrelenting heat, I’m working hard to keep the ladies comfortable. Some of my ducks have now started molting, which brings their 2024 laying season to an end. This is the earliest I’ve ever seen in over 10 years. The visual quality of the egg is also at risk, the key is understanding there is a good range of what a completely delicious egg can look like.

- 8 eggs
