Help find a loving Home for 2-Year-Old Great Pyrenees-Pit Bull Mix, Punchie!
I'm reaching out on behalf of my client who is looking for a caring and committed individual or family to provide a new home for Punchie, their 2-year-old Great Pyrenees-Pit Bull cross.
He is incredibly intelligent, knows all commands, has great recall and is super lovable. He will benefit from ongoing training.
About Punchie:
•Name: Punchie
•Breed: Great Pyrenees-Pit Bull mix
•Age: 2 years old
•Personality: Very intelligent, shy at times and loves to cuddle & nap.
•Training: Needs ongoing training e-collar training but already does extremely wel.
•Behavior: Generally good with introductions but has displayed timid behavior (nipping) towards strangers in his backyard when not properly introduced to strangers or kids that come into his space.
Reason for Rehoming: My client's backyard is a lively place in the summer, frequented by many new people, kids, and dogs. Given Punchie's occasional display of nipping towards strangers in his territory, my clients are not confident in his safety or comfort in that environment with it seeing many people come and go.
Punchie would thrive with someone who can actively engage and train him to manage his energy.
Punchie has a loving nature and bonds deeply with those he trusts. With proper training and socialization, he has the potential to be a wonderful companion.
