In West Central Iowa

Ride among beautiful rolling hills and prairie grass in rural Iowa on the edge of town. TIPS WELCOME; we want to make this affordable especially for families but please tip as you deem it worthy. Rides are accompanied by a trail leader. This is a walking trail ride. Helmets available

We currently have 5 geldings (soon to add

2 more) of various temperments from beginner-ready to experienced. Can accomodate up to 5 riders. Any day of the week during daylight hours by appointment - last minute requests will be accepted and welcomed if our schedule allows.

Howdy all those horse- lovers out there…we need to seriously downsize. Most of ours are up for re-homing. Sorry but it’s easier to say who is NOT available:

Dolly: Female pony/chestnut
Daisy: Female pony/SUPER blonde mane and portly🤭

yrs ago when I added him to the
herd
Gus: taller chestnut/brown
papered but not totally sound….
would NEVER know it cuz he runs
and walks with ease…was sold to
me 15yrs ago cuz couldn’t be a
cutter
Boston: the paint, last but NOT LEAST…will break my heart to part with this one but he goes last…my 20 yr old daughter grew up tearing around on this guy…only reason I would part with him is we have too many and he would be the spunkiest one left of the ones I am keeping.

Keep in mind, most all these horses except Handyman I could put a 7 yr old with NO experience on them.

Had this trail ride business 15 years.
Handyman I have had for 2 summer seasons and Buddy we just got but he already passed the “7 yr old test”. The rest I have had all these 15 years.

Trail Riding in West Central Iowa

COME RIDE WITH US west of Carroll Iowa.

RATES: $30/hour/horse (Riding time and Saddle adjustments). The walking trail rides are accompanied by a trail leader with helmets available. We currently have 7 geldings of various temperament from beginner-ready to experienced and can accommodate up to 6 riders at this time. We are available any day of the week during daylight hours by appointment - last minute requests will be accepted and welcomed if our schedule allows.
